How To Make An Asymmetrical Flower Arrangement

- In this video which follows on from the symmetrical design we did last time, we have a look at an asymmetrical arrangement. Using roses then carnations we have placed the flowers first so you can really see how they are placed. A couple of blooms add a focal weight to the design. Finished with foliage and wax flower this is a great style to know - why not have a go and create your own design!
Ingredients - red roses, carnations, chrysanth blooms, was flower, foliage featuring hard ruskus and French ruckus

When we did ours at college we did foliage first then the flowers, it's a very simple arrangement to put together and looks so pretty, great job John.
croccatcher thank you! Normally I would base the design first with foliage, but I wanted you to see how the flowers are really placed in the design. Sometimes you get a better result placing the flowers first - you also tend to use less foliage so it can be better value if you have limited materials. Thanks for commenting 😀
