This fabulous design is a gift - so it’s brief was to create something very special and high value, so we created not only a design that has amazing flowers, but will be perfect for placing on the dining room table in a contemporary setting.
The protea, calla and amarines are the stars of the show, set off on a base of white roses. It’s pretty special and we just wish this was a gift for us!
Ingredients - white large headed roses, amarines, pink calla lilies, scabious seed heads, pistache foliage, eucalyptus, philodendron, fern.

It’s generally a rule of thumb not to have tall table arrangements. Table arrangements are supposed to be low enough to see over when talking to guests sitting opposite…that’s what they teach in college…but I say b*llocks. If there’s enough space in between and you can ‘see through’ the arrangement then there’s nothing wrong with height in a table arrangement.
This is beautiful and it works. It’s fluid and gracefully draws the eye to the whole of the arrangement.
Thank you so much 😀 rules are flexible and if a design is translucent or the guests can talk through it easily then that works - either that or go low, or go tall. 😀
I can actually imaging this on a dining table in a main space, not so much that people are sitting at the table but rather it decorates a table that would be empty but you walk past.
It was fun to use so many flowers and make something special and high value.

Love the airy feeling of the pink amaryllis hybrid-But the protea are really covered up by their foliage. I feel like they are such a striking flower to hide.
That’s a good point - and protea foliage can be not in great condition sometimes, so it’s a matter of personal taste to leave or remove the leaves. 😀🌼
