I used to roll the bar to the front of the rack too, but one problem with this is that if it's an old bar, it will naturally settle into a position where it's bend downwards, the most stable position. If you roll it you might get a bend going anywhere and when you press it'll feel weird and you wont know why.
Good vid guys Mike is getting swole as hell. I did my first chest day yesterday with my Slingshot 2.0 compression cuffs on my shot elbows. I hurt my left one bad in my mid twenties benching close to five and a half and what a difference. Minimal tendon pain and I felt 10 years younger. Pushed 40kg more than I usually do for reps. This old power lifter turned bodybuilder gives the Slingshot cuffs a thumbs up!
Great info..... Mark your looking thick hope your training is going well. You and Mike are really dropping some great info keep it up. I just wished I lived closer to super training.... Keep passing that passion around!!
do you think massage with frozen items will be more beneficial than normal methods ? frozen roller / frozen balls / ice bath before and after massage therapy / fascial therapy ?
Steven Gonzalez You're lacking flexibility and mobility in your hips. Your hip flexors may be getting too tight from not stretching it enough to the point when you arch, it causes hyper extension. Try to spend 15-20mins a day stretching, foam rolling, and using bands on your whole body, putting more attention on your legs. It will take some time but you should notice a small difference after a few days of doing this. Hope this helps.
Steven Gonzalez Hmm. That's interesting. Try to do what I told you and if you don't see a little change in a few weeks then go see a physical therapist or an orthopedic doctor. Not fixing it will just cause you more problems in the future.
ButcherTV don't think I've ever seen someone do that in 2 years. I did that. Still fixing little things in all my lifts. 5 years of lifting and things are just starting to come together bette, and there is still Work to do. Look at rubish. Had an elite deadlift but didn't focus on form that much. Just tweaked his form after 10 years and adddd cues, and added almost 70lbs on the platform and over 100 in the gym....
speaking from personal experience. started seriously lifting 2.5 years ago and now bench 370 at 180 and i dont have short arms. i put my mind to it, soaked in a lot of information from every aspect and developed my own training concepts. im sure someone with good genetics to bench can put up crazier numbers in a shorter time
ButcherTV Yea I can see that, but I'm talking in terms of powerlifting with all three lifts. I've had times where I put my efforts and emphasis into squatting and deads, and my bench suffers, then finding that balance between the three. Plus most people aren't optimizing their technique for them, which will eventually hold them back. Rubish for example. I mean I hit solid numbers after two years of intense training, but to honestly say I had my technique honed in or perfected in anyway would be a joke. No one in 2 years is putting up advanced numbers in powerlifting with form that doesn't need tweaking and revisiting a ton through out the following years. All the top guys are still perfecting it.
I know you're joking. But it's actually fairly interesting. It's culture at it's finest, in most parts of the Western World you will see people doing this exact thing, forming a big oval circle or half circle around the speaker or the action or what not, because people are kindly making room for everyone to have a good view. Just seek out a street performer in the middle of a shopping street or in a big mall. People are doing this exact thing. But it does not happen in every part of the world, because culture is different. Just like queuing in America/Europe is a straight line, but in Asia they are just standing in a big crowd around a entrance, but they still have a perfect order.
If I learned one thing today, it's that beards make you swole. Silent mike looking big, Allan thrall the beast... smelly, grow a beard and you'll bench 700 overnight

What trainers is Silent Mike wearing? (i assume it's a Reebok trainer but which model)
I actually get shooting pain in my hip when I bench any suggestions?
Steven Gonzalez no expert but try using a roller / warmup longer

Garage Gainz thanks! I can squat easily but I can't do leg press or extensions because of the pain

Great info and ty.
first time I've seen someone wearing a hodgetwins shirt
great info. Ty
that's great info. how do or can I bench with two rotates cuff issues.
TheBullshit2011 to be honest I just would avoid it. Get surgery on your cuffs.
cumshotoftheweek.... unfortunately that's a no go for me.. the work that I do isn't worth the surgery . thank you for the advice.
TheBullshit2011 use a Sling Shot from HowMuchYaBench
supertraining06 ... thank you big man. I will add that in my routine
Eric Cartman ... nice! !! lmfao
IPF is heels down on bench also
Steve Langdon I believe USAPL is under IPF
I'm not aware of any USA stuff, Head on bench as well!
Yo, were dem untamed twins at?
5 years is a long time. if u give it 100%, 2 years should be enough to achieve crazy lifts and have perfect form on anything below 95%

Ryan Turner you've obviously got no idea
So you're saying you know tons of dudes putting up big numbers in two years with perfect form? LOL
