Ask a rock climber, but hangboard for thicker hands/tendons. It’s mainly the joints/tendons that gets thicker in your hands since it doesn’t have much muscle. All your grip strength comes from the forearms as it controls the pulleys/tendons in your hand. It’s a dumb movement, but wrist curls/rotations will beef up the wrists
I did Captains of Crush, rice, hangs, farmers walks, but one of the best was towel hangs. Tie some towels to your pullup bars with sports or med tape. Holding a nine pound hammer vertically while you watch these videos can be a challenge, too.
Mark, you were sponsoring Brian Shaw for years and you don't know about proper techniques for strongman. And you had filmed episodes of Brian demonstrating the strongman lifting. Come on now.
Great Video glad to see Nick on other channels he has so much knowledge!
Great guest. Nick is a legend. Smart guy.
Enjoyed this. Nick is awesome.
I used to wear a thick belt when I installed granite countertops to rest the piece on.

I already know this is going to be a top shelf video haha a shelf so top that Nick put an atlas Stone on it
The Bungle quote was amazing- great reference! Stopped me from scrolling by this video!
I love me some Nick Best. Sorry to see he couldn't make Masters at OSG this year.
This was good listening to nick 👍 usually see nick with Brian and Brian’s son Eddie.

Doing shrugs with over 400 and no wrist straps helps grip strength, too. Deadlifts as well.
Double overhand deadlifts for reps will give you strong hands!
haha his chinbeard hitting the mic. no one was gonna tell him :)
Nick knows Best 😉
When was the last time Brian Shaw was on the show or even the last time he's been mentioned?
As soon as he mentioned pick up the bar I thought of Ronnie Coleman and John Meadows with the meadow row.
Climbers and judoka have the best grip strength. Brick masons and cutters, too.
You should ask Devon Larratt the Canadian arm wrestler
Devon has a somewhat weak grip, he doesnt hold when he pulls...only novices do.
( yes even in hook )
You should date Devon Larratt the Canadian armwrestler.
Or Alex Honnold, the climber
👍👍
That is a serious taint brush

They use weight belts the same way in Kettlebell Sport! It's basically like adding 4 inches of bone ontop of your hips
OMFG simple farmers carry.
What seems like it’ll be easy for your body will have your forearms burning!!!
200 each hand for 200ft is honestly nothing.
But I guess that’s why I’m at World Finals this weekend
Dude jerking off in the mirror is creepy AF
