Great job ... never too much Bench technique. Mark, you going after the 600 was very motivational. I had not benched 400 Raw in a meet since early 2104. After watching your 600 effort, I was inspired to get back and hit 410 at a meet in February (not bad for a 53 year old). Thanks for all you do with training videos, the Power Project, Power
Magazine and the Sling Shot (all Master lifters should have one).

In my opinion this is one of the BeST Bench Videos we have ever produced at Super Training Gym. We smash all the major point of the bench press. With in the confines of a 30 minute workout we make Marc Lobeliner bench more weight without pain!

Thanks to videos like this and my SLINGSHOT my bench keeps going up. I jut hit a meet PR on my raw bench last weekend. I am 54 years old and got Raw 551 pounds on my bench easily at my last meet. 560 is next and eventually 600. I just started lifting at 51 and powerlifting at 52 so this is all exciting for me. Rock on and keep up the great videos.

You are doing this for free, and it amazes me every time that you do it the way you do, You are helping a lot of people with your videos and I personally think it is just fair from us to give back to you to the best of our ability, which is sharing your videos and when looking for equipment to purchase it for you, since they are all awesome pieces, I have the blue Slingshot and the Camo Wraps myself :)

Thanks for the tips. This video is the only video I have been able to locate that is specific to the technique of the bench press. From an explanation of the hand grip to explaining the difference between benching with a wide grip and using a wide grip but tucking the elbows in, you provide a great visual of the proper bench. It si a great reminder for those of us who have lifted over 30 years of the basics and how anyone can stray off the path to a proper lift.

Naturally I'm short and slightly heavy but I'm a runner who doesn't want to look like a runner. I used to train as a powelftet and I still use that in my training today when I do gym work and not on the road. I take so much inspiration from Mark Bell and this video just helped me a ton to improve my bench press which I never used to enjoy. So, thank you guys.

Was gonna ask more about your thoughts on the negative phase's speed in bench, but i see Mr Lobliner is about my speed in the negative phase, i'm even bit slower i think. I've concluded it's my style to keep the package tight, and to protect specially my shoulders. Anyway, hope you would cover the bench press negative phase more in some future videos, you can get a good discussion about it for sure. Awesome bench video anyway, propably the best in tube i've seen. Thanks.

Also when my shoulders really hurt and I can't seem to get 1 push up do to tightness or pain the Sling Shot can help you do like a million push ups and that is a nice warm up before bench.

I seriously do not understand why people hate Lobliner so much. My coach went MIA the week of my bodybuilding show and I did not know what to do so I emailed Marc Lobliner and he was not even my coach and he called me up (as he was moving through an airport traveling for work), got a quick synopsis of my situation and within an hour he emailed me back with a full game plan and agreed to help me with my peak week with daily check ins and was extremely helpful. Not one time did he ask me for a fucking penny. Sure he tries to sell supplements, he OWNS SUPPLEMENT PRODUCING AND DISTRIBUTING MULTI MILLION DOLLAR COMPANIES, only a fool would not try to promote their own businesses to support their family. This guy is a real, genuine person in an industry full of fakes.

The advice really did increase my bench from 2 plates to 6 plates. I learned to isolate the pectoral through bodybuilding and learning this is a whole new method and a whole different feeling. I felt my lats contracting along with my traps. it's incredible

Main takeaways to reduce shoulder pain: retract scapula, arch lower back to put you more in a decline bench position and most importantly break/bend the bar while trying to pull the bar apart through the whole lift.

Becoming freaking strong in a bench press can be life saving because on your back is the most fatal and vulnerable position the secret stabilizer muscles your activating in your core is where a large resivour of hidden strength comes from to be able to control alotta resistance from that position

Why didn't they play this on the news media when they got all upset about Donald Trump when Billy Bush had the mic secretly on? They are much, much worse!!!
Don't they know that some people might be getting offended? Like good Christian women? Start listening at 18:30...Mark Bell started it this time. Mark Lobeliner took the bait. The other guy had to stand there and listen to it...
