I find the Chrome extension dataLayer Inspector very interesting. Unfortunately, I don't understand what the point is of entering an event under dataLayer push. Can you explain to me when I can use it?
Is your google analytics tag merged with your google ads tag? Does that matter or would the process still be the same as this? I have google kit in my wordpress and there is a tag option. I out the google analytics container but it has a merged tag with my google ads tag.
Thank you! Please, when I am using GTM debugger and am logged in my wp-admin, I see duplicated tags for GA4 and GTM in the Google Tag Assistant extension but when I am not in debug mode I see only one tag for each, which is correct. Is it a problem? Why do I see duplicated tags in Google Tag Assistant when debugging while on my WordPress website? Again, thanks for the channel, it is very helpful!
Another very interesting video, thanks Julius. If you could make a video with some tips about debugging trigger groups that would be great! Trigger groups create some regex on the fly in the preview and it's an headache to debug
There isn't much about that topic. Most of the things are quite hidden and there is almost no information in the preview mode about them. That's what we have to live with.
@@AnalyticsMania I was hoping you would come up with some kind of genius solution to it ahah. Nevermind then, thanks again for the great content you put out there anyways :)
Thanks for the nice vid! I wish you made videos about pushing data in the datalayer. I understand its a developers job, but we shouldn't limit ourselves to just being analysts, etc.
If it was just a simple topic that can be covered with a simple video tutorial, then there would be already many of them. Don't you think so? There is a reason why this does not happen. And that reason is that you would need to become a developer. The road to that is very long, hence no tutorial
Just a feedback for a better UX: you move the mouse too fast and more than necessary. Remember we are following the movements of the cursor, and this way you really induces our eyes to move in a uncomfortable and unproductive way. When you want us to look in a certain point, just pointing is enough, like the cursor was your finger.
What a wonderful content, Julius always exceeding expectations. Thank you
