Thanks. But you never showed the pacing of your tags load. I have a problem that after the consent update my default tags like GA4, GAds won't execute on the first page. Is there a solution for that?

How have you got GTM installed on your website? We have seen that if GTM is installed via a Plugin or Google SiteKit, in some cases it can affect the tags firing like GA4 and even tag manager itself in terms of preventing preview mode from working.

@@HeavyweightDigital yes, had to pause GA and GTM in Google Site Kit (now I'm blaming it on Site Kit in general and want to kill GSConsole connection as well). But there are some other tags expected fire, which they don't - MS Clarity, FB pixel, etc.

GTM is added hi Head/body code within the Divi theme Integrations.

I've found Site Kit pretty unreliable across the board and try to avoid it where ever possible! On a WordPress site 90% of the time I find adding GTM via WP Code Plugin works fine - unless you're experiencing issues with tags not firing that can't be explained by anything else. In this case I think it would be worth installing it directly into the site's HTML code (not via the page builder you have used).
"To hard code GTM into your WordPress site you’ll need to navigate to Appearance > Theme Editor > Header. From here you can copy the code into the right section. The code should be as high up on the page as possible. You should also be able to implement the tag in this same section of WordPress. This snippet again needs to be as high up as possible “immediately after the opening”."
If you are not 100% confident in messing with your site's html code yourself, please consult a professional web developer or speak directly to WordPress support to avoid any issues.
If this doesn't fix the issue for you - I would double check that you've set up consent mode correctly within GTM yourself, and if you can't see an issue with your set up, my next tip would be to get in touch with your consent banner provider and explain the issue to them as we have recently seen issues with consent mode configurations due to set up issues with various consent banner providers. My preferred provider who I've personally experienced no problems with to date (Aug 2024) has been CookieYes.

Thank You, there´s a free consent mode v2 banner available? What is your recommendation?

Hi there! Do you mean in Google Ads?
If you mean recommendations for free banners - I personally prefer the CookieYes free plugin as I myself found this one the easiest to set up and configure to comply with Consent Mode V2, although any provider should be able to help with the implementation of Consent Mode.
