I made it and changed the recipe a little. We don’t use garlic at home, so I used asafoetida/ perungayam. And you’re right I had to change salt and Kharar depending on how sour the tomatoes were. It was awesome😜 one entire jaadi empty. I plan to make once more, this time I think it would be good to add venthiyam to the tempering.

Since then I'm making it every year and giving to my mil and mom also. It lasted 1.5 years in room temp, without refrigeration, just as u guaranteed in that video. Then your lemon pickle. Our whole extended family in himachal used to wait for this when we used to visit them in summer. And it comes more tasty in other tomato not hybrid Thank u so.much

Hi friends since few people have mentioned that salt is more you can reduce it to 80 gms.instead 100gms.or increase tomato to1,1/4 kg.

Can keep it in stainless steel vessel for 2days then after done it should be stored only in glass or porcelain container.
