Hello, loved all the projects even the idea of framing the old chair cover. Silly but I'm interested in the apron you are wearing. I'd love to make one for myself. It looks good on you!
I would add a couple of small faux leaves and a thin ribbon around the handle of pumpkin. I love how that came out. The stool was an awesome color.
Great idea!! I’m going to share a pic of the finished pumpkin in a community post this weekend. And I am taking you up on your idea of adding some leaves and maybe a ribbon or jute twine! Thanks for sharing 😊
I absolutely love the color of the stool.
Me too! It’s the perfect color for the fabric that I chose 😊
This video was a lot of fun to watch. I don’t mind you jumping from project to project! Actually, I find it fun and engaging! Don’t stop doing your unique videos!❤️❤️
Thanks Patti! I appreciate your encouragement ♥️♥️
Thank you for such. Wonderful teaching. I had bought an old quilt several months ago & some of it is coming apart so your showing how to repair yours has really helped me. I always watch you & im in western Colorado. Thank you also for your energy.
I’m so glad that I was able to share how I repaired this antique quilt! These treasures are worth the effort to preserve them. If you need any more help, feel free to ask 😊 thanks for watching from Colorado!
Another fun and creative video love the lamp and little stool
Thanks Cindy! I appreciate the encouragement!
So glad I found you! This is the type of upcycling of thrift finds I like.
Oh, forgot to tell you where I am! I live in south Texas, way down close to the Gulf.
I’m so glad you found my channel! I share easy diy projects for our home in hopes of inspiring others to thrift and upcycle for their homes! Welcome my new friend!
That’s awesome! I was in south Texas in the Houston area a couple of months ago and made a video of our thrifting trips while there! Here is the link to that video: ua-cam.com/video/tJcqKJ20upg/v-deo.htmlsi=jiPXFP3MxiGYcf16
Hey from Australia Cindy 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Just love all your inspirations.
Thank you ❤
Australia?? That’s amazing! Thanks for joining us and I’m so glad you enjoy our videos 😊
Sorry Cindy I missed your live show, 5 hour time difference ( I live in England ) makes a difference! Lol!
I absolutely love the colour you chose for your footstool! Blue just happens to be my favourite colour!
Your instructions were crystal clear and easy to follow. Saw a footstool in a charity shop ( U.K.’s equivalent to a thrift shop ) around where I live I have my eye on. Going tomorrow morning and buy it ( hopefully still there! ).
No worries about missing the live Donna! I’m glad you enjoyed watching the replay. I hope you got the footstool!!! 😊
Cindy, I love your videos. Didn’t catch you live but I did enjoy it. Cool projects. Love how you explain so clearly. Makes one think they can do it too!! God bless you and your husband.
Oh thank you! Some times it feels like I have too many words😂 Thanks for watching and God bless you too😊
Love. Love the pumpkin. Have to thrift a lid soon.
Isn’t it so cute? I’m going to search all year for more and paint them next year
Everything is so cool that you make over .. very creative! I’m very excited to see the end result
I’m so glad you enjoyed the makeovers 😊 here is the final result for that adorable footstool. ua-cam.com/users/shortsol2YKCdmRMI?si=iVyr6pq7x-r2xVP2
Such a great job on the little foot stool! Thanks for painting the under side. I appreciated that detail I just used that dark blue on a reddish stain end-table too. Love to hear your stories and explanations. Isn't it great how furniture can tell us a story?
Thanks! Those footstools are such easy and fun projects. And I agree - the underside needed paint! I love that furniture holds stories from the past. Hopefully our furniture will carry one the stories!😊
One of the best videos ive ever seen on makeovers...❤
Thanks for the sweet words!😊😊
Cindy, rarely get to catch a live but I ALWAYS love watching the replay and this one is no exception! I was also thinking about framing that needlepoint as well as highlighting in some way the carving on the footstool, maybe white wax if you wanted to go in that direction. I'm going to have to try the Silk line; I really didn't know that much about it until watching you use it. I can't tell you enough how much I enjoy watching you create. And I think I need that apron LOL
Thanks for watching Sharon! Don’t worry about missing the live. I’m just glad that you were able to watch the replay 😊 silk is an amazing paint. I am really starting to love it more and more and that apron is so easy to make it would make a great gift as well. Have a great day 😊
Footstool looks so high end !
I’m thrilled with it! Thanks!
Thank you..beautiful pieces
Thank you too!😊
I love wooden pieces I can remake. I have gotten a few different sewing stands!
I love fixing up wooden pieces too!
I'm a TOTAL project jumper! It helps me to not get bored, helps to think of ways to improve the projects, and of course gives things time to dry in between when you go back and forth! Love your channel and your projects are absolutely stunning every time ❤❤❤
Yay for all of us project, jumping crazy women! It definitely keeps the projects, interesting with fresh ideas 😊 thanks for your kind words. Have a great day!
Loved your video! Everything was beautiful!
Thank you so much!! Did you see the short video showing the finished footstool? You are going to love it! Watch it here: ua-cam.com/users/shortsol2YKCdmRMI?si=eoJkXrgSMyOaVGtS
Love your rec ycle style
Thanks Jean!😊
That blue paint is beautiful! Looks so good with that fabric!
I love that fabric too, and it was just a curtain panel for about three dollars😊
Love your video! Omg! The green fabric under the needlepoint piece is EXACTLY the same piece on my great aunt's vanity stool I inherited! So very pretty! Small world.❤
So cool about the green fabric! I love finding old fabrics😊
Did you see the final result? I made a short showing it click here to see it:ua-cam.com/users/shortsol2YKCdmRMI?si=YxO5NrLz4wXsRmNv
@@ReinventedDelaware your husband was right about the gold guilding wax. Absolutely stunning! ❤️
@@donnadozier4294 I agree! and I will be sure to let him know he has a future in makeovers!🥰
I'm amazed at how many projects you show that I also need to do. I have a little footstool to recover too. I look forward to seeing you frame the needlepoint. Will you use glass? I have one framed under glass, and I have been considering taking the glass out because I think it would look better. Not sure yet because the glass also keeps it clean.
I’m so glad that you are inspired! Sometimes I watch cleaning videos to inspire me to clean my house! As for the needlepoint, I’ve got to find just the right frame, but I probably won’t use glass and instead just every so often vacuum the needlepoint. Hope this helps.
Awesome work , from Columbus Georgia..😘
Georgia is a beautiful state my dad used to live in Atlanta 😊
Hi, I'm a first timer. I'm from a little town named Kiefer, close to Tulsa Oklahoma.

OR...FOR ME, I'D PUT A SATiN CORD AROUND THE "EDGE" , BETWEEN THE BOTTOM OF UPHOLSERED STOOL "TOP" & THE WOOD BOTTOM ....WHERE THEY MEET. : } I HAVE BLK SATiN CORDING & IMAGINE FINGER PAINTING/SHADING THE CORDING WITH THE "BLUE". LOL LOVE IT LIKE YOU HAVE IT, AS WELL. : }
I love the idea of adding the cord around the area where the fabric meets the wood! I just might have to do that. Thanks for suggesting 😊
I'm from West Tennessee...hi ya'll 😅
