Charge, hamstring and wait for the nova, use pvp trinket rush to force the blink, intercept the blink and pummel the frost bolt he was charging, dps till he ice blocks before he dies, click off target to disengage combat and reset your charge, get away from ice block to avoid his next nova, wait for the ice block into blink combo then charge and execute. If you’re lucky enough to fight a mage who doesn’t iceblock the second you charge its harder to pull off, also basically impossible to pull off if the mage tags you first, and you can’t charge so you have to waste your intercept. Unless you have rocket boots. Also grenades shit on mages in pvp. Most warriors don’t understand their class for pvp

I mainly remember spending hours upon hours of conjuring 4 max-level water bottles at a time to supply full 40-man raids with a couple of stacks each. After conjuring a stack or so, it was time to drink myself because my mana was out.
@@pimketss Conjuring 10 bottles instead of 4 was actually an improvement made in patch 1.9.0. From patch 1.3.0 (where the max tier conjure water spell was introduced) and up until 1.9.0, it was super tedious to supply 40 man raids with water :)
That’s correct. If you do a raid type full damage don’t expect to live long. Also if warriors get the charge off with macro instant death for the mage.

Upside they become more deadly to casters/healers because of the 2sec silence. You are referring to a ice mage. Yes, if some goes deep in ice they become more deadly to melee. Counter is sub for rogue. Or you put on more resistance gear. You will be weaker to melee.

During Wrath of the Lich King expansion, as a mage/engineer, I used to go to classic dungeons, run around aggroing every trash mob, then collecting and freezing them into one spot, and Blizzard-spell them all to death. Until Blizzard (the company) nerfed it by lowering damage if you hit more than ten mobs. Depending on the number of mobs collected and frozen in place, you could do a phenomenal amount of damage per second, sometimes filling up the whole screen with damage-notifications. Good times..
@@BlueShellshock The funny part about the 10-mob limit was, that it didn't apply to totem effects. When Cata came out and several Enhance abilities were tied to the fire totem, my shammie was able to do insane amounts of damage.
During the tail end of vanilla I tanked a Pom pyro from an aq/bwl mage, I was Demo... soul link and some fire resistance pieces.. fel heart.. feels good man. All that absorb and resist.. good times.
Demo warlock was more tanky than some of the boneless tank specs tbh (enhance sham and stuff), and pvp you were basically unkillable. good times, good times

I was a demo lock in almost full pvp/t2 gear and I can confirm this. Almost full 6k hp with sl basically unbeatable 1 on 1. i survived full t3 naxx arcane fire mage pom/pyro combo and just dc/fear him and it was gg. I was constantly beating best pvp/pve players and grand marshals on my server outside of ironforge in duels.
Warlocks are the new mages. Mages have quite a few buttons now and really rotate around flurry, frostbolt, ice lance, frozen orb, and blizzard. Additionally you mix in frost nova and your pet’s freeze spell if the enemy can be frozen.
Mage's are the biggest trolls ingame . I know it because i am one! My favorite trick is to place 2 portals in each other, one to the requested city and the other one to the dalaran crater ... that got me kicked out of many raids and it was worth it !
Honestly, half of this video is why I got bored with playing mage. I had a blast leveling while playing Fire. Then I got to max level content where 90% of enemies resist fire and had to respec to frost and it just got boring as shit. Just throwing frost bolt and occasionally channelling blizzard.

As a mage I bound my main attack to the mouse scroll wheel. The scroll wheel I had could 'click' like a normal one or, when you pressed it once, could freely spin around. In a raid all I had to do was give the scroll wheel a spin and I would automatically be casting my fireball for 30 seconds 😂😂

Than something is wrong with your memory, max lvl drinks can only be created at lvl 60 in stacks of 10 never any less.

As a mage I bound my main attack to the mouse scroll wheel. The scroll wheel I had could 'click' like a normal one or, when you pressed it once, could freely spin around.
In a raid all I had to do was give the scroll wheel a spin and I would automatically be casting my fireball for 30 seconds 😂😂
