especially the video got it all wrong, the "retarded" side would be alliance i know i played alliance for years, we rarely win BG's because we got retards/noobs or dumbasses
Matthew Osterman The difference is horde have longer ques so when they do get bad games it feels a lot worse for them. Alliance give horde so many free wins because they can get into a new game easily.
Adrian Wilson yeah, they’re actually right. Do to most servers leaning towards a horde imbalance, you get faster BG queues as alliance. More queues = more games either won or lost = less effort in actually caring what happens
My Orc hunter lived in WSG. Vanilla WoW. 50-59 was the best. Our pug was seemed like a premade because it was usually same people that played. We were really good. We got a lot of practice because Hellscream EU was a server with tons of Alliance and just a few Horde. There was more human paladins then all Horde. Our ques for BGs were like ~1 minute. Hunter was an useful class. Back then hunters could track humanoids, animals etc. Good for pinging efc. Exalted with WSG faction at 54. Epic mount at 58, good times.
Something tells me this video was inspired by a real match cause of the screenshot at the end. The part that killed me was the bot jumping to stop the afk timer.
I had so much fun as druid in WSG, I would won some game alone. Being oblivious to the fact that druid were OP made it even more fun, I thought I was good!
I made Lt Commander in vanilla as a holy/disc priest. I was in the best pvp guild on alliance side, Bloodhoof. Often me and the GM mage would run out and he'd grab the berserker buff and go to town on the enemy. I'd support him and keep him up as much as possible. Rest of the team was assaulting flag. If/when we'd die, we were on defense with the flag carrier when he came back, other team would return the flag. Good times.
impressed you're still making these videos, but I'm glad you are, they are great. and man do i recognize this. i may not have played WSG in classic, but this is very similar to my experiences in low-level BG around the time of Burning Crusade, lol
I remember my time in pvp when wow first came out… It was something like a few month after release and the amount of tricked up/twink gnome rogues that destroyed you was insane. At least one each match that would dominate with its insane gear.
Yeah. Most of the time I get into a BG and I see the Alliance acting as a team. They even bring healers! Horde, on the other hand, have 10 or 15 individuals all doing their own thing and bitching that the one poor sorry SOB healer who made the mistake of joining can't keep them alive because he's getting trained... and not in the fun way either.
Protection pallies in Legion, and in Season 1 of BfA, were dang-near invulnerable, because our passive healing was through the roof. Then came the nerf bat in Season 2. I so miss having 6-8 players beating on me and I still manage to win the node.
As alliance, I remember WSG very differently. Mainly sitting at the gy refusing to rez and just wishing they would cap the last flag ffs so I can leave.
all good alliance players play premades instead of pugs. So basically you´ve only got the trash left in ally pugs these days. Friend of mine playing horde on EU servers says like 50% of all ally teams are premades and even more just after reset. It´s sad but it´s the truth. Hordes are too many so queueing as a full grp sure takes time. ally has short queues and such extrems between good n bad players.
@@oJackOfSpades queue times are much worse for premades and gathering people can be time consuming too, it's sad that you have to do premades to have a winning chance really. i have beaten countless ally premades with pugs lol.
@@Dr.WhetFarts oh don´t get me wrong, alliance pugs occasionally beat the hell out of horde premades too. My point is, there´s no point for the alliance to do pugs anymore. You log in, you hopefully prove your worth ,you get invited to a premade and then you just join them anytime you´re online as long as they ahve spots. Or you´ll create your own with the fillers from the core team. I feel like Horde mostly consists of solo rankers as opposed to the Alliance. when doing pug vs pug I´d say alliance and horde win about 50/50 depending on day (good horde players seem to join a few days after reset since the alliance are practically dominating every single bg from wednesday to friday).
Yeah this is horde. We never care the battle is win or lose. Alliance is dead or not is the only thing we care about. and I am always proud of it! For the Horde!
I want to play on your server pool. EU Alliance sucks. 50% of the time we're not even a full group because some jerks keep joining just to leave again.
This wsg reminded one game I had in the old TBC. The our FC ran like lightning speed. Maybe even faster than Epic Flying mount. He got the Flag and told everybody 9/10 go after the EFC. since no one can see him or touch him. we couldn't lose. we were 3-0 real quick. I think he was a GM after all. the speed he ran for each flag it was just like disappear insight in one sec.
as a druid of the alliance i can confirm this: there used to be a dwarf paladin able to keep the players for himself whenever I got out of the enemy base and the BG would end very fast
What kind of twisted world is that? Alliance wins bgs with more active player? Thats basically the complaint I would get from every single alliance player that tried to get into pvp. Just watch payo play his hunter and constantly shit on alliance for losing bgs, because they are afk everywhere.
@@Blubbii88 LOL, I am complaining about the bgs in China. I was considering to play PVP in NA WOW, seems I have to consider it twice. Thank you for the info.
When I first started as a warrior in classic I never intended to do pvp but I tried it once and I feel guilty because i was exactly like this horde warriors and just ran in for kills. It worked pretty good but it not exactly fits the team play aspect. But seriously I didn't know wtf was going on. For me it was just another zone and I just knew were the flag might possibly be.

That jump to not get caught in afk...

The bot jumping had me dead.
Funny thing is they don't even need to jump, just moving the mouse one pixel would do it.
The sound at the end made me think I won a battleground, it's been hard engraved into my mind
Well it made me think I lost a bg, so I understand
It still trips me up to this day. I play mostly alliance now but I was horde up until mists.

Every single time WowItsHard nails it perfectly. Great video.

everything is fine
Prot paladin
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WE GOT 'IM.
I play a paladin and I gotta say even in holy spec that is what happens every game, 10/10 would lay on hands again

After the word "paladin" - all other words are not needed...
Cheapass
Ive never ever felt so touched from a WSG video in my 15 years Playin WoW and being a hardcore PVPer horde... this is my team.. idd.. and it hurts
I play in the BFA. But watching the video I wanted to laugh and cry at one time. Warsong... It is never changed...
war, war never change.
It was Horde that always queued up full in a few seconds. Alliance always had, like, 3 free spots.
and it still is
Shows how unbalanced it is
No matter what you do just keep fighting in the middle
and never go for the flag carrier also never go for the heals just continue to attack the tank.
Something tells me this video was inspired by a real match cause of the screenshot at the end. The part that killed me was the bot jumping to stop the afk timer.
There must be priest who entered just to ask for water, then insta leaves
Good trick
It has been too long since I've actually laughed consistently at a YT channel, not just for Classic but just in general
The bots made this whole thing even greater.
Yep, that's how I remember Warsong Gulch too :D

Hands down best wow content i’ve seen!
I was that mage... I feel like this video resurfaced my Warsong Gulch PTSD
Accurate representation of alliance being so confused, they spawn in the wrong flagroom
The accuracy of this causes so much pain, 15 years running and no matter the expansion, this is my team easily 50% of the time.
Its been 15 years and we all still stay in the middle and chase.
