Erk Erilar / This song is very inventive and chaotic, I feel like I am traveling with Gaahl into the Qliphothic Realms when I hear this whole song.

Some killer tracks here. Carving the voices has to be my favourite. I like my black metal beautiful and haunting more than chaotic and aggressive

I'm pretty getting addicted to this album. Very hypnotizing melodies, harmonies. Vocals are astonishing

This album proves Gaahl is the best black metal vocalist. Hes uses so many different styles and it all works and fits into one. Best black metal I've heard in a long time.

@@thewhitewolfff6356 he was great, not lately but trust me his performances were legendary. I watched them back after they got back together and oh boy, all of em needed more practice . Also it didn't help how drunk they were.

I love the pace of Black Metal with deep clean vocal delivery. Sounds Epic. Reminds me of Akercocke in some parts.

Saw them live yesterday, I was a bit apprehensive at first because I saw Gaahl as a bit of a meme but they put on a hell of a show. Gaahl also shook pretty much everyone's hand in the front row and stuck around talking to people for a long time after the show, pretty cool guy.

What a wild trip this album is. So much to discover, it definetely needs some turns to get into it but its worth the time. Very, very interesting album.
I haven't been into black metal for many many years, but this album brings back the sounds I used to enjoy and makes me relive those emotions again..

I can already see this being in so many top-of-the-year lists. I know for sure it will be in mine, as this is an outstanding release. The composition and emotion of this album is really something unique. At times it reminds me of early Emperor while still sounding fresh and modern. Gaahl wrote a masterpiece here.

Really didn't know what to expect from this album, but this turned out to be one of the more original, dynamic contributions to 'Black' Metal that I have heard in a while. The melodies are strung together really nicely, and stick out beautifully, almost to where they sound a bit cacophonous, but in a tasteful manner. Will definitely be coming back to this.
Listened to 3 songs already. Gonna listen to the entire album during Midnight.

Thanks SOM for Gaahls Wyrd -- somewhat of an extension of Trelldom, to my ears. I've heard all I need to hear, buying the compact disc today...because Gaahl rules, and so do compact discs.
Fuck yes they do! Vinyl is killer with the large cover art and colored vinyl. But too goddamn expensive. Downloading and streaming is as gay as it gets. How anyone can live without a physical metal collection is beyond me.

No me cup of tea, but refreshing in constrast of all Black/blackfolk metal in these days. It has its own spine. might be crooked (from my perspective) but its own unique and solid.
