I had this album on repeat while putting furniture together when I got my new home with my wife. Now every time I have to work with furniture, I feel like listening to this again!
And I really enjoy listening to Abbath while I'm taking A Bath.

Really solid album. The second guitar (of Ole André Farstad) works really well. It makes the album more dynamic and fresh sounding. Abbath did it again!

@@crnakrv9770 well ok asshole. I remember the day when you had to rely on hype, word of mouth, and reviews to make a purchase. I got burned so many damn times when I was a young metal head. All I am saying is that Abbath being the big icon he is, the label could have just rested on his past success and made everyone wait until the official release but maybe I am alone in appreciating the fact that they uploaded ahead of time.

I am stoked about this one from Abbath...just as much as I was when Immortal released Northern Chaos Gods...2019 has been a great year of impressive metal releases.
Ikr, we all thought all was going to hell when Demonaz and Abbath split, but now we have two kick ass bands to enjoy.

Great album. Really solid. I enjoyed the first album but I’m liking this more. Got to meet Abbath and Ole when the toured the US and they were both really poli guys. Always cool to see good people doing well at what they love.

Appart from that feud going on between Abbath and Demonaz, they are both giving us good content which is good for the scene. I never thought that one day i'd be listening to the ''2 sides of Immortal'' at once. Good job on that new project, excellent stuff!
I have to say I really like Abbath sense of humour (recent excess not counting...) and his musical skills, but really, I prefer Demonaz stuff. Maybe bit more Bathory inspired (i am not that fan of it tho) but better for me. Abbaths album are little boring to me, while technically good. Of course, Immortal was top notch, being new or old albums.
this trend of putting out albums three days early on UA-cam is interesting. Season of Mist did this with Enthroned too!

Immortal is better without Abbath and Abbath is better without Immortal. I think it is great that Abbath can make his own music now, love both of them and their incredible music.
I wouldn't say they are BETTER without each other but for sure both are amazing. I love all the 12 albums from Immortal and Abbath together. And the good fact about their split is that we have 2 good albums in 1 year!
They've definitely displayed they're just fine without the other. So win for us really.
If it means we don't have to wait 9 years for new albums, and instead get like an album per year from either, I'll take that.
@@dreamsmadeflesh1 I dunno, Immortal's recent track record makes me feel that we'll be waiting another decade before they lift a finger, meanwhile Abbath will probably produce and tour until he dies.
Wouldnt say so... Neither the latest Immortal album nor Abbath's both albums are better than Sons of Northern Darkness, Damned In Black or At The Heart Of Winter. Still solid albums tho.

I was having beer and standing by the pit getting shoved around the day after I got surgery and got laid off. I wouldn't miss this band for the world, I went home feeling a bit raw but it was a great show. I put an Immortal decal on the back of our blacked out 2018 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel, and my husband loves it lol.
Finally I can hear a nice bass sound ... my compliments to MIAWWALLACE and sure ABBATH too 👏👏👏👏👏👏

@@hectortorres8188 Steven Wilson and Devin Townsend's albums are usually well produced and Desolate Shrine's latest has good dynamic range considering it's a black metal album.
Is all a matter of preference and opinion.
