Getting older is definitely scary learning to be ok with body changes is tough . Being responsible for every step . Watching your life pass by oooof scary
100%💜 Every year (for me at least) it seems like something else goes wrong, I have another new thing to deal with. But, every year something great happens (this year it was going full-time as a freelancer). Also, the older I get, the less pressure I feel about "acting my age." But, yes, watching life pass by is so scary
UA-cam recommended this video to me and i sincerely thought it had over 200k views. It is so well made and comforting. I will come back to this. Thanks Ms, Lee. I don’t know you, but your words put me at ease. -Coming from an 18 year old who has no idea what she wants yet :,)
that's so sweet, thank you!! 18-19 were some of my most stressful years. I remember not being able to sleep because I couldn't stop thinking about my purpose and what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. Right around my 20th birthday, something clicked. I realized that I had to tell my perfectionistic tendencies to shut up and just take action. I enrolled in college, changed degrees three times, switched colleges, and dropped out. But, it was the best decision I made because (somehow) it led me to what I’m doing now. And I absolutely love it. I don’t know you, but if you’re anything like me and tend to get stuck in the loop of “I can’t make a decision until I’m sure it’s the best decision”, you might want to consider just picking a path and pursuing it. But make sure you’re open to changing paths. The more you do, the more experience you’ll have. The more experience you have, the more data you’ll have to make better choices. Also, my late teenage years (while stressful) were some of my most fun years. So live it up, have fun. You’ll figure it out💜
