  • This video is the Maiden Launch of "The Molly Dillin". I've had this boat for many years, sat uncompleted with an engine that did not work.
However, I have now placed a working Yamaha 60hp on to the rear and it was finally time to take it out for a test run.
I will need to get the engine set up correctly as there are a few teething issues however, once this is done it'll be a fantastic boat to head out on to the Solent and explore the local area via the sea.
Let me know if you're interested in this style of content and what you would like to see on this additional section of the RevZolution Channel.

Hi or ahoy might be easier to launch with the car still connected to the trailer . Much more control less chance of injury. Nice one

My mate sat on the boot, which released the trailer by accident 🤣 we were due to attach the tow rope and lower it in but that plan went out the window. 🤣more videos hopefully coming in 2024

Good video of you guys enjoying yourselves, would have been better if you could have put more information in the video especially for new people.
Is the fuel tank on the outboard or does the Shetland have a built in tank that you connect the motor to?
How much fuel does it hold in the tank.
With the outboard you have can you tell me how many litres it uses per hour.
Have you gone from one country to another yet?
Whats it like out at sea?
What safety features are required internationally for a boat that size?
    What is the cruising speed?
Im here on UA-cam to find all these answers as I'm looking to buy a small boat.

Thanks for the comment. So with this video it wasn't actually ever filmed for UA-cam. I threw it together last min.
This year I'm going to do a full video with everything about the bike so please stay tuned and I will definitely mention you and answer all your questions in my next video on the boat

How are the Molly Dillin Adventures progressing ? Plus what model of Shetland is she ? Cheers

Unfortunately I've not taken her out this year so far. The crippling fuel prices put a stop to that but hopefully I'll get to take it out this summer.
I'm still trying to figure that out, I've asked on the forums and it appears that the boat was a very early model before Shetland took the previous Company over in the 70s. Still no Confirmation what model

What size outboard are you using?

60hp, it was only running on 2 of 3 cylinders at the time and a wire was shorting out but I've had it serviced since and it's running as it should.... just need to get back out on it now
