Thank you so much. I've always been a traditional knitter but I've found looms are easier on my hands. My scarf is finally finished except for binding off and now I know how to accomplish that. Great video.
I am new to your channel. Thank you for you easy step by step instructions. You talk so calmly and slow enough to do the stitches with you and don't have to pause as often. Thank you so much!
I literally only bought the loom so that I could crochet easier and simultaneously be able to keep my eyes on the subtitles for my Anime shows✋🏾😭 I will most likely keep coming back to these time again until I master the Loom!! Thank you!!
Superb, exactly the video I needed to cast off my scarf. It’s a great finish and easy to follow. I should have done it a bit looser but that’s my fault, your instructions were perfect. Thank you loads.
My entire project unraveled after trying this method. Have learned that looms are definitely not my thing. I can’t seem to find a video that helps me effectively take off my project in a way it isn’t too tight to use or just completely falls apart and unravels once it’s off the loom. Was a massive bummer to have hours of work undone in a matter of seconds. Was the first time I’d finally had the motivation to finish one, or at least try to I guess. 😅 I’m not trying to do beanies or scarves so maybe that’s the problem.
Maybe you knit to the right but casted off to the left. I've done this cast off ages ago and it worked. Now I can't get my head round casting off in the right direction. We need another video casting off to the right. I've long covid brain at the moment so it doesn't take much to get confused 😢
Thanks! Just what i needed. ♡ Have you tried to pick-up your stitches from the bottom, not from the top? That way they never slip from the hook(?), and the work goes faster. At least it does for me.♡
I have a question but I can't find an answer for when I start my wrapping pegs for the very first row does it matter where the knot is. Should it be facing into or out of the center of the circle I was told you make a loop and attach it to the Anchor Peg on the side you then start looping the thread around the loom but one person told me the not has to be facing the pegs and the center of your knitting loom and another person told me the not should be facing away from the knitting loom so the straggly piece of thread that hangs from it isn't mixed up into your knitting I'm so confused does it even actually matter
Just a little tip. If you will turn your pick the other way (have the point up) and go from the bottom of the lower stitch up and over it will give you more control of the stitch you are working with. There will be less chance of the stitch slipping off the pick causing a dropped stitch.
I've been binding off step by step as shown here, however, my cast on is MUCH looser than my cast off. My cast off is TIGHT! And if I'm trying to do a round pull over the head infinity scarf, the two ends aren't even. What am I doing wrong? How do I fix this? Thanks!
@@TheCrochetCrowd Thank you! Are you talking about the Super Stretchy Method by Denise Canela? This will better help the elasticity of tube infinity scarves?
@@hollieduckett5169 oddly enough I was thinking about this comment the other day when I searched for a method to loom off another beanie I made 😂 one yr of making beanies and at least I learned this isn't the video for me

Thank you! I like this so much better than the last bind off method I used! And this makes such a nice pretty little braided edge 😍

So clear! I was FINALLY able to cast off a piece that had frustrated me for a very long time.
excellent.

I count it as 4 steps , easy for me to remember
That's a super idea.
Thank you sir :)

You inspire me. I want to do this. What’s it called? 👍🏼
I just did this method on a straight loom and it made my last row too short and tight. Is it really just my tension?
Can u do this on a sentro machine

Use the stretch bind of method to get balance.

Random question, but where did you get your hook? I'm looking for a big ergonomic one and I can't seem to find one.
It's actually a Crickett Tool I got from Michaels.
1:11 if any one wants to know that wrap is, its the u wrap and is a tighter stitch when its worked in a project.
Thanks😾
to cast off do has to go left can it go right? does it matter
I would be consistent on how you wrapped it to cast off. It's up to you.
@@TheCrochetCrowd ok I only ask cuz I is left handed
Thanks for your video really appreciate it
Hi what's the tube on the yarn please?
It is an empty barrel of an ink pen. He just removed the ink cartridge and the plug at the other end.
You didng give me full explanations and then I meses up and I had to start my whole progect over
Where did you get your loom hook from?
Michaels. It’s a Crickett Tool.
My Scarf only is half the loom
we have bind off for the round loom if you are only doing a panel like a scarf. ua-cam.com/video/DXR_MgpRO2s/v-deo.html
It's "bind off" and "cast on."
This ruined my beanie
I'm sorry that this process wasn't what you wanted.
This didn't ruin it. You ruined it by choosing the wrong method. There is a difference and you need to own that.
