Looks good. I like the off road animal gear the qualityis really good. I did the predator bar on my x terrain. Come up a treat very easy install. And it's strong have done some very big winch recovery and had no movement in the bar or and bar damaged ( warping etc).
@@fwdw-my nah, non xterrain DMAX or BT50 will have a factory strip there, have since installed this. Any water that did get underneath would evaporate anyway pretty quickly?
No, not at all. I know exactly that whistle that you're talking about. I used to have a rack that did that and thankfully this one is pretty quiet overall 👍
How do you find the airflow with the 3 spotties on the front I’m looking at the off road animal bar with hoops and I’m thinking about the 3 lights up front just worried about airflow

I haven’t installed them yet but i have to get some sika as those holes that go into the roof are stupid as hell, never seen a car do that before all other I have had have been sealed inside the thread so no water ingress.

Enjoyed watching an instal that I have done myself already, they are a good rack and easy to add stuff too. Slightly narrow for an ensuite awning but narrow is good for other things. I laughed when you said “not maniac tight” on the bolts into the roof. I snapped one of those off in the roof which was fun. Have you seen the torque spec that rhino rack and Yakima have for their racks on these cars? Its barely “regular tight”
Curious question, wonder if the scout front wind guard would fit the Rhino Platform Roof Rack, love the front of it and how it incorporates the light bar but I've already got the Rhino Platform installed on my vehicle and wondered with only a few drill holes if it'll fit aka the overall dimensions match up...

From dual battery and fitting snorkel to the little ones like struts on the hood. The hints, tips and tricks you show helped me out with other little projects on it too soo thank you!
Hey mate quick one. Are the tie down bolts fairly easy and quick to adjust on the run or a tool and a bit of mucking around is required? While the Ute is mostly leisure it will be required to carry a ladder from time to time as well for work so will need to make those adjustments to suit. Talking of carry ladders if I get a rear ladder rack is this compatible and will sit level with the rear ladder rack or its low profile it will likely sit lower than the rear ladder rack? Hi, difficult to answer not knowing the ladder rack in question.. if it helps the rack is about 90mm above the roof line if you're lined up to that should be sweet

The rack looks really good, however is there something we can do to the now exposed gutters in the front between the rack amd windscreen. That gap looks a little average to me. I've order a rack from these guys based on the video but just worried about the above. Cheers Wade

Well the dmax roof is rated to 100kg, this weighs 22kg so depends on the weight of the RTT, but yes some would work for sure
