Can’t wait until you make up your mind are you reviewing a more comfortable Ute or a luxury car you guys always go on about scratchy plastics. Would you rather leather floor and kick panels how long do you think they would last in a Ute get over it
Me abd my dad both have a 2023 isuzu d max v cross 3.0 td . I got mine tuned too around 170kw and 510nm of torque my dads is stock . It never disappointed us . Great review regards from South africa
I think less power is good. Think about it. 3L engine with less power means less forced induction. Avoid what ranger is doing with the tiny 2L twin turbo, a lot of forced induction to get more power. It only wears out the motor much faster. Big displacement and less power is good , the motor will run forever
It is a Ute, needs at least 100kg in the back to even out the ride. Even my ford Utes "FG XR6 2010 and the old BA 2001" needed it. Add to your review driving with and without 100kg in the tray/tube. They your review will change ! There is a huge amount of capacity in that motor. A simple tune (without going stupid) will increase the performance, in all aspects. You didn't mention the new off-road traction control new tune function. Massive difference compared to the older models. Am glad they have improved the lane keep. The existing tune in the older D-Max and D-Mux is crap especially on Vic roads where dodging potholes is a consistent driving technique to protect rims and Tyre's. Yes hate, even it in a modern Mec also from a recent driving experience. In my opinion the choices around this functionality and pricing isn't that much. Most Chinese utes are out of selection as full of features but the calibrations of these systems are useless. The shark is a possibility. The Triton is also the same (not an option) as its driver monitoring system is just crap, even after the last update. Even The Hilux driver safety features are so intrusive that they are a distraction from driving. So not safe at all. Yes have driven a mates late 2023 Luxi. Great vehicle but dam the safety crap is just over the top. Cruse control radar is fantastic and so is blind spot monitoring. The rest suck ! Would I buy A Dmax? The price is starting to get up there. Especially when you start to modify the vehicle. 15-20k disappears very quickly. If I had time, I would wait to see the industry's response to the shark but that might take a couple of years. If I had to make a decision right now: -If replacing my FG XR6 as a work vehicle, I would consider it. -As a touring and towing vehicle, yes definitely would be considering it and would be in the top 2 (No ranger but a Luxi included). Towing 2.8 tonne and under, I would also be looking to have a GVM increase performed before registration. All modern Dual cab utes need this upgrade if to be used a tow vehicle. It is too easy to hit the weight limits, regardless of the manufacturer (Toyota, Ford, Mita, chinese stuff etc etc).
Redesign the front fascia go square shape headlight or anything else drop the eagle headlight very2 old design. Offer v6 diesel engine too and add some mild hybrid
I own an 11 year old DMAX LSM, 230 000 km’s no issues. Only mods are Intercooler upgrade, transmission cooler upgrade and catch can. Catch can was fitted just after I purchased the vehicle new. Other upgrades over time, reasons longevity of vehicle. True, my DMAX can be a slug at times, yes the plastics are hard and SCRATCHY!!. I have no interest in purchasing another Ute, in my opinion, they are Rubbish. Marketing and Manufacturers have convinced people you need frivolous luxury interior’s, technology to dumb the driver down. A UTE is a Work horse. And these reviewers that rabbit on about Scratchy interiors, technology and fancy interior’s don’t mention this all adds weight to the vehicle. We are already over loading these vehicles to tour, then add a heavy van. Want luxury buy a Car or SUV.
cheap interior & it's 2025 soon nearly all car manufacturers use ipad style screen for vehicle & new futuristic styling for interior yet isuzu still stuck with pathetic styling

Why do people think analog gauges are bad??
They look awesome, I hate digital cluster gauges
Great comments mate 🇦🇺 👍
Have they fixed the bump steer issue ?
How would this not compete with the Hilux?
Definitely loving the Isuzu so much...just wishing it had a bit more power.
More power is (almost) always a good thing.
Just get a tune
It does de 0-100 faster than the 500 NM Hilux and 470NM L200..

With all the reviews I've done I'm going to buy one but it would be nice to see a 360 camera and wireless phone charger in upcoming years
I will always choose Isuzu with or without v6 engine
$70000 no way 🤑🤑
Always loved Isuzu... biggest threat is the Hilux
$70k & they come out with cheap H/T Highway Terain tyres 😂 what a joke!
The only true oz ute was made by Holden. These dual pickups are glamourized tools
You guys really should stick to everyday cars, or get someone who has even the most vague clue about utes.
I’m sick of these channels reviewing diesel Utes then whinging about them being diesel utes.
Hmm....
Blade is higher spec, higher cost!

You guys really haven't the faintest clue how utes are used or what buyers want out of these things

This show sucks
