One of my children's all time favourite snacks, these Chicken Pasties will be flying off the plate as soon as they come out of the oven! Be sure to make a huge batchfull 😄
They're creamy, mildly spiced inner filling is perfect for all ages and the golden and flaky crispy outer pastry with that added pop of the poppy seeds completes this wonderful snack!
Make and freeze ahead of time and you'll never need to think what to feed those hungry mouths.
Perfect for Ramadan, Parties, Eid, Diwali, and much more.

I egg wash all my pastries and freeze them they come out perfect every time . It also saves ingredients because if you only wanted to cook a couple each time you would need to keep using an egg , try it honestly it works .
thank you for your great tip Fozia, I'll give that a try.
Do you freeze them with uncooked pastry?

I lurrve a pastry 🤤
Who doesn't 😄👌
Shouldn't put the ginger and garlic in to early, put them in with the other herbs.
I was just thinking about you and you uploaded...i just made your kala chana recipe...
Whats the difference between chilli powder, curry powder and kashmiri chilli powder??
Recipe looks great...
Chilli powder is more for the heat kashmiri chilli powder is more for colour rather than heat
Amber, thanks! I hope you enjoyed the Khala Chana 😊
So, going back to the spices.. chilli powder is exactly what it is- chilli 🌶 adds heat. Kashmeri chilli powder or Deghi Mirch as its also known as adds a much milder flavour compared to regular chilli powder and adds a lovely vibrant colour too.
Curry powder on the other hand is a sweeter blend of spices with turmeric being the key component. It's more for sweeter milder base sauces. Hope that helps 😊
Which mixed herbs do you use it would be helpful if you could show the products
They're just the standard mixed herbs in a small bottle that you can purchase from any local supermarket.
OMG bus kurl I'm so hungry 😫
Haha 😄
Please bring the camera close up to the delicious food you have made after you have bitten a part of it, so we can see what it looks like inside.
Will do 😊👍
Can I keep the filling in fridge n when ready fill in pastry.
Yes you can, but please bear in mind the mixture will be OK to use for upto 3/4days.
