Purchased your pattern at my local yarn shop and decided i wanted a baby blanket sized project. Pulled out 3x length of yarn for my desired width and long tail cast on where I added sets of 6 to my cast on til the yarn tail was nearly gone. A relaxed 29 inces wide (super stretchy!) and so far 4 inches in height knitted. The pattern is really easy to memorize. I love the ribbed look! Thanks for the reversible pattern that you created! Really like the look of the turning edges, but as a Continental knitter who uses my thumb, not an overextended pointer finger for yarn forwards, have a hard time going into yarn forward and slipping. A few times, I caught myself purling instead of slipping the sl- wyif. Have a blessed day!
Miss Barbara, I wish we could of met in real life. You are my kind of peoples! Your humor, 😅, just cracks me up. I’m loving the wooby...wobby....wob, never mind. 😊 I can’t wait for another one of your fabulous lives. Thank you for posting this video. 😊❤😊 “Rent a baby” .... 😂 😝 😆 Yup, my kids are grown too.😊
"Woobies" are truly magical. I've known so many friends in my life that cherished their blankets up into adulthood. My favorite version of preserving that blanket, that I've seen, is to sew it into the lining of a weighted blanket. It allows the blanket to maintain the original purpose and be enjoyed for a long time.
I am glad to see your wooby blanket am planning on buying your patterns but I would like to make it bigger how would I go about it. I have sport weight and over 1200 yards so gave enough yarn. Thank you 😊
Unfortunately the construction on this pattern makes it quite difficult to change the size. I had to do several hours worth of math to get this to work at this size/gauge. The only easy way to make it bigger would be bigger needles and bigger yarn.
You recently explained wherethe duck comes from. Your mom's expression! Well I just heard it in the Irish try channel drunk spelling be! And I thought of your mom's expression which you said is rare! 😂
Hallöchen 😊hätte eine Frage kann man die Anleitung bekommen beziehungsweise kaufen du hast so schöne Projekte würde sie kaufen auf Deutsch echt coole Sachen hast du lg
in the movie "Mr. Mom" starring Michael Keaton, Terri Garr, Jeffery Tambore and Martin Mull back in the early 80's, Michael Keatons middle son had a kids security blanket that he called his "Wobby"
I am currently having technical difficulties updating my website and am working on migrating it to a different platform. But even so, the non-Ravelry purchasing option goes through the PayHip service so that would be the link you would need to use. This one: payhip.com/b/sMA5d
You can get this pattern at the following locations:
PayHip: payhip.com/b/sMA5d
Ravelry: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/a-good-wooby
Perfect! Excited to give it a try.
Challenge myself by trying to follow a written pattern! That's how much I absolutely love this!
@@ruthyk7083 You can do it!

I hope you enjoy knitting your blanket!
I love this one. The garter stitch is so squishy, the double sided detail makes it so perfect!
I spent so much time squishing instead of knitting when I made this LOL
Your excitement about how squishy it is made me so happy lol
It is soooo squishy. I want to hug it and pet it and name it George.
Your excitement makes any one want to knit this. Going off to look at the pattern now. Thanks!
Aww, thank you. I hope you like it!
Wooby.... ive never ever heard that word but my daughter seems to be the very definition. She will probably be getting one for christmas haha

That’s a fantastic idea.
Never heard it called a wooby--cute!
Language is fun, isn’t it?
Wooby reminds me of the movie Mr Mom. The Kirby ate my wooby!!
I totally forgot about that. Maybe that’s where it’s from?
I think I've seen a similar pattern in one of your scarves! Fell in love instantly. Not enough upvotes available for this! Looks so sophisticated!
Yes you have! The construction is based on A Good Scarf, good eye.
Great video thank you 😂🧶☕️
Glad you enjoyed it

Ich befürchte, dass ich nicht über die Ressourcen verfüge, um Muster ins Deutsche zu übersetzen. Vielen Dank, dass Ihnen mein Muster gefällt!
Ok ist sehr sehr schade lg

Yep! That proves I didn't make it up LOL.
I would prefer to buy on your site , not on ravelry.
Don't see the patter there. Will it be going up in the future?
