I know I'm late tot his vid, but I can say having seen them once they have the most incredible stage show I have ever witnessed in my many concerts, but even up in the 200 level of the arena I could still feel the heat of the flames for most of the pyrotechnics. It was absolutely insane, and the stunts they also pulled off at times were also crazy. I'm glad you pulled up the live versions of their song because it is such a sight to hold.
I highly recommend your next Rammstein reaction be the official video for Deutschland. It's one of my favorite music videos of all time.

Till Lindemann is a qualified pyrotechnician, that's how Rammstein can get away with all of their pyrotechnics! I also read somewhere that those wings weigh around 100 pounds. Just imagine singing and performing on stage with 100 pounds of weight strapped on you. Till Lindemann, the lead singer is just a total beast.
Also, I had the pleasure of seeing them live back in September, here in NJ at MetLife stadium and all of their songs are phenomenal live!
Not to mention as that weight on his walk in is straight backwards. You can see him leaning into it. Then as they extend that weight distribution would change.. as he's singing if I'm not mistaken

The *BEST* place to be at a Rammstein concert is in the 'Feuer Zone'. Nothing else can compare. Best 2 concerts of my life, hands down.
They also clearly know how to keep people from passing out, as they alternate songs where there's heavy fire/pyrotechnics and blasts of cold air from fans built in to the stage. Also blasting us from an anatomically shaped cannon with bubbles helped cool us off at the end, too.
I *did* check my face several times throughout the concerts to make sure my eyebrows were still there, and survived both concerts w/ eyebrows intact, too! LOL

the front row section is called the fire-pit. it's fucking expensive but worth every penny. you feel the bass and the heat. It's like being on stage.
I have never been fortunate enough to see these guys live, but I know my absolute favorite thing in the world was going to NIN concerts and the bass starting to build and feeling it, physically. It's one of the most incredible, adrenaline-pumping physical experiences.
I’ve seen them live twice and both time I could feel the heat from their pyrotechnics. Live they are one of the best bands.
I saw them last year and I was I in the seats but could still feel the heat that far up. Totally amazing.
The best Rock group in Germany.. I live here and saw Ramstein LIFE... NO WORDS ARE NEDDED... AWSOME PERFORMANCE!
Also love the piano version of Mein Herz Brennt. Not a live performance but it just shows off what an excellent vocalist Till Lindemann really is.

I went to their tour over the summer. It was by far the LOUDEST concert I’ve been to. And fire, so much fire. I saw a UA-cam video that it took 7 full days to set up the stage and a fleet of 60 something trucks to haul it all.
You have to check out the live versions of “Ich Tu Der Weh” and “Ich Will”, both from the Hurricane Festival
I think Ich Tu Dir Weh from Madison Square Garden is a lot better personally

Saw these dudes live back in 98. They opened up for KORN on the first family values tour. Ice Cube was there too. I was 16 and it was my second rock concert, so I decided to take LSD for the show because why not. I had no idea I was gonna be blown away by these guys
Just a pity the police dragged them off stage after a couple of songs. A real "I guess you're not ready for this yet, but your kids are gonna love it" moment 😂

Just saw them last September here at Gillette Stadium. The show was everything you except and then some.
I saw them in august in Philly. The loudest show I have ever been to. And fire, so much fire, it was glorious!!
I went to that show. It was at Madison square garden in NYC in 2010. This show sold out in less than 15 minutes, (we got nose bleed seats) Two days before that We drove up to Montreal to see them for the first time at The Bell center. I've been going to rock shows since 1972 and this was by far the most amazing shows I've ever seen. When the show in NYC was over I was drained and depressed that it was over.
Some of the hardest ticket to get. I got them over the phone. Always happy to know I saw the for the first time that cold night in December
I've been going to rock/ metal concerts since the mid 70s and nothing compared to these guys. Know what you mean about depressed it was over. I waited two years because of Covid but can't get excited about Download this year in the same way.😪😪
I was there too, you won't believe it but i only had 1 ticket i purchased months before the show. Then my wife changed her mind and wanted to join me... Long story short we were able to get 2 great tickes at the ticket counter for $70 each?!

The front row in a rammstein concert is called Feuerzone (firezone). The people in it sometimes get a sticker saying: _I survived first row with Rammstein._
They're videos are amazing, great costumes, stories, etc. But their live shows are beyond amazing.

If you ever go to a Rammstein Concert you have to be in the frontlines called "Feuerzone (firezone)". There the name is programm and you get the best feeling of the heat! and by the way, the man on piano is Flake

Rammstein puts on the best show I've ever seen. But if you're listening to a song for the first time, I would have recommend a really good live recording or the original recording just to hear the song. They are known for their life performances but the songs are actually phenomenal too. They're not just all show

An outstanding performance as always from Rammstein. Till wearing those songs illustrating the burden that's carried by angels. It isn't the paradise as a reward for leading a good and pure life but a cold, lonely existence clinging to stars to stop themselves from falling to Earth. Till's whole demeanour is one of a being defeated by the reality of his existence. Their performances are pure art.... and fire, lots of fire. Rammstein are Christoph Schneider on drums, Christian "Flake" Lorenz on keyboard , Till Lindemann on vocals, Richard Z Kruspe on guitar (lead), Paul Landers on guitar (rhythm) and Oliver " Ollie " Reidel on bass. Nice reaction, hope you do a good few more.

I will say this Everytime I see a reaction from an MSG show video.. This was the best concert I’ve ever been to. I got tickets over the phone. It was an amazing experience.

With flames like that going off it doesn't matter where you are, You feel the heat. I saw Rob Zombie at the Palace of Auburn Hills in Michigan and when he sang Dragula he had 4 flamethrowers shooting about 50 ft and you could feel the heat in the entire area.
The first time I seen them do this song. Till was like 15 feet in the air by the end of the song

I saw them on this tour. I was about 30ft from the stage and the heat was insane! It was hands-down the best live performance I've ever seen, and I've been to hundreds of shows.

This album came along at a time in my life when I wanted HEAVY, but didn't really care to hear how depressed or angry the singer was. So the fact that I didn't understand the language was actually a bonus. In later years, I realized that they weren't even DOING what American bands were doing at that time. They weren't "angry", just creative as hell. Like Polo said: better than most Marvel movies.
@@MisterDarkfallBy no means are they depressed or angry. Some of their songs are political in nature like “Du Hast”, some are about love, some are about regular observations about life and some are about pure feelings. When I was living in Germany, I loved watching their music videos. So awesome.

It just seems to me that they came around at the time when "nu metal" was peaking in the US, and all the American bands, like Staind, Lincoln Park, Deftones, Korn, Limp Bizkit were pissed about something. And I LIKED a lot of those bands. But their lyrics were MOSTLY about being angry or upset about something. And I wasn't. I was a happy guy who wanted to hear LOUD GUITAR. LOL, I'm STILL that guy actually! Mein Herz brennt and Spiel mit mir are also WAY up there on my list. Rammstein are AWESOME.
@@MisterDarkfall Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit are still my faves. Don’t forget about Papa Roach. Legit didn’t know it was a genre called Nu Metal. Lol. I’m the type that listens to music that resonates with me. Being black I get a lot of stares tho especially when I am singing along to Rammstein or Seeed.

It always amazes me when people from all around the world react to Rammstein. Especially when they didn't know much about the band until watching. It took me until my "late twenties" when I realized and valued their artistic, musical and performing skills. And by the way: The pronunciation is not like Ramm"steeen", it sounds like a "RammSchtaiin" (or think of the "i" in wine)... :)

I've been down front for their shows, they take safety extremely seriously. I was down front for a small theater show they did in 1998, I must say that there is nothing more exhilarating than when you can feel the heat from the flame jets, flamethrowers, burning microphones, and in those days, Till singing their namesake song whilst literally on fire. Words and video simply cannot do it justice.
The burning coat is my favourite Rammstein pyro prop. So simple, but epic.
Seem them a few times live. Best live show, and it is a show. Seeing them again in August. They tour every year here in Europe and it's always great. Been a fan for over 20 years. Anything you watch is great. Live shows, "Puppe" "Mein Teil" or "Pussy" great live.

One thing you can expect from these guys...Fire! And lots of it! Saw them in 2012 and 2022 when they came through LA on the Stadium tour. They have several songs they do stage acts for. So there's tons of great skits out there to see. You wont be disappointed. They are a bucket list band. The pit is the best place. Just don't wear anything you care about lol.

Flake is the name of the guy on keys. (Pronounced "FLAK-AH").
Flake means "Doctor" in German. He actually was in med school studying to be a doctor when he was asked to be in Rammstein. That's where he gets his nickname from. His real name is Christian Lorenz.
Flake does not mean "doctor" :-D It's a town in a german cartoon. Little Christian Lorenz liked the sound of it, because it didn't trigger his stutter. He chose it as a nickname so he could introduce himself without embarrassment. He did want to study medicine at some point.
The keyboardist's name is Flake - Pronounced "Flaw - Kay".
His birth name is Christian Lorenz.
I do love a live performance ....... but homie the studio version of this song is where its at for the audiophile. side note Til Lindeman ( lead singer ) is a licensed pyrotechnic professional.
