Ijust got my first Japanese ratchet, Ko-Ken 3/8 zeal..... It is nice with low back-drag. Not as smooth overall as my Snap On. The Koken came from Japan with no lube.... I put a few drops of light 3 in 1 oil which smoothed it out a bit. What do you use for lube on the Koken?

@@carrepairandtoolsvideos I've heard good things about Kamasa from the 1970's. I have and use Snap-on mostly, one Hazet ratchet. However, I don't like to take them out of the shop. I've seen a nice Kamasa set in a case, it even included universal sockets. The video was in a different language than I understand, so I was not able to understand him, but he looked well pleased with them. I was unaware there was a difference between "Kamasa Tools" and "Kamasa" tools though, perhaps he was using the inferior.
