A special place managed by a great leader and staff. Thank you.
The Hulman family made three very important decisions regarding the Speedway. The first, in 1945 was to buy the track. The third, in 2019 to sell the track to Roger Penske. The second, and most important decision, occurred in 2013, when Doug Boles was named President of the track. Without all three of those decisions, the Speedway that we all know and love would not exist as it does today. Thanks Doug.
Very Cool! Thank you Doug and your staff for this fantastic behind the scenes.
That is AWESOME and the amount of work that has to be done to get this ready for the Oval is breathtaking!
I first set foot on IMS in 1959. (Wooden bleachers turn 4) Lots of improvements. Love it.
thanks Doug
Man I would love that job
Way cool. I've always wondered how that happened.
Amazing
Awesome
Makes me proud to be a Hoosier
Great informative content as always, but WHY is there a classic car (maybe a 1960s impala?) on the warm up lane at 2:17? I want to know more!
That’s Doug’s 64 impala FYI
Is it May yet?
