Saw Willie less than a year ago and he played 2 hrs or more, I miss John Cash so much, Tom Petty Just Broke my Heart, all my heroes are leaving, life is hard 10/21/17
Gerry Clarke No it´s by Lyle Lovett. This version is pretty shitty, Willie Wanker have absolutely no rhythm or tone for that matter, One of the worst musician in history. That´s a fact.
+Michael Jensen your obviously completly clueless when it comes to music, considering he is one of the most influential country music artists to ever hit the stage..I think us fans and 25 no1 singles say otherwise. Idiot.
I taped this show on VHS off of CBT a looong time ago. Still have the tape and this is my favorite song on it. Big thanks for posting it! Great song, great arrangment, love the steel and love WILLIE!!
Willie didn't seem to buy the concept of the Highwaymen. He liked to do all his parts as solos and didn't invite the others to join. Not just his own signature songs, but even this Lyle Lovett song that's not associated with Willie. LOL.
You're wrong. Every one of them did some solo songs, even in the Highwaymen albums. And Willie recorded this song for his album "Across The Borderline" that was released in 1993, the same year that this concert took place.
Boy, never heard this lovely one from Willie himself, love you brother redskin, 🎉❤❤
Keep coming back to this, Willie at his best on Lyle Lovett's classic. Should have had more views!
me too. I used to have this on vhs, taped off the tv. i come back especially to this song again and again and again.

@@kennydobbins1345 I agree.
Great song written by Lyle Lovett. Willie does everything so great in his very own way.

another timeless classic by the great Willie Nelson.

Michael Jensen OMG, Lyle Lovett was disgusting and couldn't sing AT ALL. He could wish each day to be as good as Willie and he would die exhausted.

You can stick to you shitty pop-rock Noel Gallagher. We prefer the real rocknrollers like Willie (and no, he hasn't done rocknroll songs).
Willie is so cool...they ALL were! Wish I could have seen this live...Thanks for posting.:))
❤love you w.
Thanks Lyle for the song. Thanks for posting.

Why? Willy sings it so well.
@@corneliadenninger5395 Why Not? You can listen to Willie, I liked to hear Micah!!!!!!! I like Lyle Lovett when he sings the song!
any song Willie Nelson covers he makes it his own, there are not many other singers that can that
Johnny Cash could.
