I'm 56 years old , and I've been listening to Merle Haggard since 1974 I never in my life have got sick of his music. My all time favorite country music singer .

I saw where he donated Trigger to Smithsonian after he passes. They said it is most valuable guitar in the world. Looks like a $59 guitar in the hands of the master. Never will there be another Willie Nelson. Anyone who knows Willie can always hear Trigger in the back ground

The love of my life is dead but this song is for me over him. He was a hopeless alcoholic but we had a connection unmatched. (he also resembled Merle and played guitar and Merle was his fav performer). Death is so final and leaves devastated loved ones. 😢

One of the most beautiful live performances ever. I love Willie also sing Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain with Shania Twain live. Merle was an amazing artist and everyone should know his music and Willie's too. The wonderful album Dhango and Jimmie near the end of Merle's life with Willie showed he still could play and sing well. RIP Merle you will never be forgotten!

Willie is America’s Grandpa. ❤️ I don’t know how offen I have been watching this video. The song is one of my all time favorites.. Willie’s voice is so amazing and fits Sheryl’s voice so well. Yes those harmonies touch the soul. Watching Sheryl and Willie look at each other often enjoying their performing shows how great they are together, almost as if one. Willie is master show man and gentleman and always allows his duet partner to shine through equally. See Willie perform Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain with Shania Twain another brilliant performance. Anyone who would dislike this masterpiece performance of a country song isn't human.
