- The might HMS Victory and L'Orient go head to head in a contest for naval supremacy. This is a naval miniature wargame using the Black Seas rules published by Warlord Games. All the miniatures used are by Warlord Games. With the exception of the flagships all come in the Master and Commander box set. Please enjoy the alternative history display of simulated naval warfare!
Great video 😊
One, small, critique; the pennants and ensigns look more natural when they’re blowing either to one side of the ship, or directly to the front. The wind is blowing from behind, after all 😊
Actually, the ships depicted in this video are equipped with an oscillating super capacitor powered by a thermal fission process involving element 115 to bend space-time in a controlled manner to propel themselves on all three axes regardless of wind condition,...............just playin, you're right.
I hope you do more Black Seas games, there’s not enough games out there, and it’s a beautiful looking table game.
It is a fun easy game, we will certainly play more,.... American revolution maybe.
I always look forward to getting a notification for a video from you blokes. Another entertaining AAR, great stuff keep them coming. I saw the Bren!👍
Thanks Brett that means a lot! We will do as many as time will allow!
I really love How You do these battle reports.
Subscriped and will keep watching
Thanks a lot for the sub!
Glad your back
Can’t wait to watch….
Still want a shirt 😉
Let us know what you think when you get a chance to watch it! And, i haven't forgot about you, you'll get the first one if we do another batch of shirts i promise.
@@LongShotWargaming hi friends I know it’s been a while but I’ve watched this video several times I’m getting ready to play the battle of lake Erie at a convention here in Port Clinton Ohio in September and I hope to get a few practice games under my belt. I hopefully I can record it and keep up the good work, and let !
me know if you want to advertise your channel at the convention.(meaning I would wear your shirt.😊)
@@SGusky Whats the Con?!? Maybe someone the guys can swing up. Battle of lake Erie will be awesome! Great local history. And in the faithful words of Perry's battle flag, DON'T GIVE UP THE SHIP!!!!
I liked the presentation of the game a lot, much better than just recording all the movement and talking about dice roles. It really told a story. The interview sections could use some work. Either edit some out, or plan ahead of time what to talk about so there is less filler.
Good vid, even if historical you wouldn't see this kind of engagement. Frigates and Brigs fight on a diffrent level to 1st rates. And I would like to see some more Ship of the line actions :)
Nicely done. Good to see some Age of Sail gaming...great looking ships too :D
Thanks, it is a cool period and very different from our usual gaming.
@@LongShotWargaming Sure is. Age of Sail is always an interesting era of gaming. Look forward to the next AAR :)
Always good to see your content
Thanks a lot, we've started work on our next couple projects, stay tuned!
@@LongShotWargaming will do we are very much involved in our project in staff and mission planning which is really developing well. Best wishes chaps
Well done and entertaining video, thank you.
Many thanks!
Nice looking ships, great presentation
Thanks for the view/comment!
Fantastic job once again guys!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hi folks from across the pond. Loving the content and the terrain is excellent. Any chance you could do a run through of your brilliant gaming room and give some idea on how you set up the terrain etc. My fave was the Kursk table really dramatic terrain (where do you store it all?) Many Thanks and look forward to many more vids 😁
Great report as usual guys. Enjoyed it.
Awesome, thank you!
Looks awesome! Strong work Gents!
Much appreciated!
So well done😂
Training and armor were the backbone of the British naval dominance.
Such a good game
We quite enjoyed it.
brittish close range into hull French long aim for sails. Mic is bad but well put together. Use audacity could help sound quality if not yet better mic.
lol love to see you guys getting wasted on whisky and beer playing wargames hope to do the same with my friends
Thanks for the view and comment! We do have fun, every once in a while the boozin does effect tactical decision making however haha.
What are the models?
They are all Warlord Games Black Seas models.
