"C'est magnifique!!!" Top notch presentation (maps, animations, room...and costume!) of a great looking game, the ships are awesome...Superb French (minor) victory, and revenge soon obviously, Cornwallis's not dead!👍👍
Hi guys, are you sure that the vengeur (avenger), was a 1st rate? Wasn’t the later 1805 version the 1st rate? This battles ship is listed as a 74 gun only? Cheers guys. Great video
Glad you enjoyed it! You are correct. The Vengeur du Peuple was only a 3rd Rate (74) originally named the Marseillois before the Revolution. We didn't make this scenario and only filmed it so I can't explain the ratings.
Glad you enjoyed the song! The lyrics can be found in the book, "Famous Fighters of the Fleet," by Edward Fraser (1906) starting on page 199 with the lyrics starting on page 205. So - there is really no link to the full performance. Would you like for us to make a video of the whole song?

the french revolution started in 1789 so it's the sixth year of the revolution, anyway, good video
Glad you enjoyed it! And thanks for the catch. I knew the Revolution started in 1789 but somehow got the year-count wrong.
