socalguy829 so you saying any Japanese cars need mods to be cool. Don’t think so. I never would do mods to my dream car Evo V and it’s pretty fast compared to average cars. Some cars are cooler when stock (and even more expensive)
Yeah more because American importers buy the market empty for cheap and sell them for horrendous prices. Just to sit on dealership yards gettin rusty because there isn’t an actual need for all these. 10 - 15k is okay for a Evo V but I just hope they don’t go up to 20 or even 30... people hopefully miss out on evos. It would be so sad if they just get trashed like skys and supras, so you only option of optaining a good one is to pay a terrible price. PLEASE AMERICA DONT RUIN THAT FOR THE REST OF US
So another thing with Dream Run is that the prices in the window are NOT always what the price for the cars. I tried to buy a Jimny from them about 5 months ago. The window price was about 59,000 yen (not including the jci). When I went to buy it they raised the price by 11,000 yen (not including the jci) the day I was going to buy it. So if you buy from them, just keep in mind that the price may not reflect what they are selling them for.

I lived in Japan 8 years ago and purchased a 1993 Toyota Soarer TT for only like 320,000 yen with 2 year shaken. Came with rims, body kit and exhaust. It was an auto though but was super cheaper. I later sold it to a dealership for about 120,000 yen with a months shaken left.
Auto tt at auction now 800,000 yen the much cheaper than sedan
I’d buy the evo if I had the chance
Not too far from Camp Foster there. Spent two years in Okinawa myself, 06-08'. Those cars at Music Lab have always been there. They used to have a blue and black R34 GTR out front for a while. Quick question, are those boys still street racing in front of Kadena AFB at night? Not saying Music Lab but there were a group of people that used to meet up on Friday and Saturday nights at midnight and hold drag races. Good times.
@3:50 theres an r34 skyline driving by lol.
@11:22 that Evo V GSR is clean and very nice if I had the money is but it.
Dealerships are robbing you. Those rides cost way less in the auctions
No because you won't see these cars in an American auction.
Look inside the sterling wheel is on the other side. You wouldn’t find that in the USA.
@@TetherAlert I meant japanese auctions, not US
@@voevodineu show me, I deal with USS and many others regularly, been here for 20 years. Maybe if you buy an R rated 2.5 or less grade beat to crap 180k on the clock model
@@JSpecGC8 Sorry for being so russian, I will provide link from russian site. On 6:30 this video features toyota soarer for 1450000 yen. 3 days ago a soarer was sold at JU Aichi auction with the total grade of 4 (B/B) for 474000 yen, which is 3 times cheaper. Here is the link www.carwin.ru/japanstats/see/273468699
Is paying for the inspection optional on the cars? Like if you plan on importing them, do you have to pay that 2 year inspection fee?
yooo the r33 gtr has my old wheels i had on my Soarer. Manaray racing wheels!!
Them wheels went up in value, even in the current condition on the r33 you can easily bring in 1500
If I lived in japan I’d be car shopping every weekend. I want to be out there so bad... I’d love to own so many cars they have within the country’s position
3:48 casually an r34 drives by
I see it, far white one
Meanwhile in Bulgaria we drive Volkswagen GOLF from 1995 !
Good car (y) !
I remember when all those cars where 2-6k in the early 2000's
In japan??
@@stephenstrickland6149 Yes
Even the JZX100? They ended production in 2001 hard to see them going for 6K still new
I never see any GTO VR-4, 8th gen Galant VR-4 and 6th Gen Galant VR-4 are they not as popular there?
Next vid a 6th Gen VR4 gets featured! Haha
Thaaaattt evo though 😭😭😭
Frr
That siIver gray evo melts my heart.
Prices are getting crazy because of the usa :/
We all want what we can't have...I only saw these cars in Gran Turismo growing up but I fell in love
@@CaptTwo6 you do realise you're paying top dollar for 20-year old cars with all the problems that comes with? and most need major mods to actually be fast/cool
@@socalguy829 i mean u do realise everyone is like that when doing something they love. It's like sneaker heads paying thousands for shoes when they can buy any shoes. Like hypebeasts people paying thousands for expensive clothing for when they can get any shirt. Like when women can get any purse or bag but they want a fancy smancy one from LV.
socalguy829 so you saying any Japanese cars need mods to be cool.
PLEASE AMERICA DONT RUIN THAT FOR THE REST OF US
I live in Okinawa and if you go to Chatan there are many jdm cars such as Silvia s14, s15, r3, rx7
He’s definitely not gonna lie
😅😅
Just got orders to oki. First time on this channel, looks like it's gonna be a good time.
Wow that is nice 33 GTR 🤯 if i was 18 years old or older i would by it instantly😅😥
$15k for the r33. Needs $10k minimum put into it.
15k for a r33 is not so cheap in Germany i Can find r33 for like 6000-7000
@@Negev999 maybe a non turbo one, but for a r33 gtst in a normal condition you need around 15k euros
@@sleep9275 shit i just checked and it start at 12K euro last time i finded some at like 8000-9000
@@Negev999 yeah some years ago you could import a r33 gtr for like 15,000€ and gtst's where around 8k (the whole import, so the price in japan was like 3k I think!)
I dont think the prices will ever go down from now on, even silvias are around 15k.
Sadly I was to young back in the days to buy cars :D
Imagine being convinced that it’s a GTR by looking at the “GTR” stickers and badges on it. Dude didn’t even check for a whole entire front drivetrain before he convinced himself it’s a gtr.
Man I’m in love with that evo5 .... I have a evo 6 and I wish I could go to Japan to get some parts for it 😢
Long story short: they are NOT cheap. The time has come where you can get cheaper ones from USA, UK or China.
Absolutely not. I live in Japan but the tax rates are insane on these rides. Plus the infamous 13 year rule
