I was in Okinawa from 2008-2012. R32 gtr's were going from 4-8k. I went through a few different cars with one of my last ones being a 97 chaser tourer v. All black, manual. Mint mint for 10k

The car culture in Australia has dramatically switch to owning a 4x4.
All the teens and men with money are buying them up while other cars like the Holden Commodores are only dropping in prices because nobody is into sedans.
Yeah, car market is always changing. You can see JDM scene pretty much dying out after it's peak in 2019.

People really sleep on the Holden commodores perfect sleeper for half the price of a hellcat 🤷🏾♂️ hellcats are nice and all but the Holden commodores black on black have that sleek aggressive style I can’t seem to get over
Since the death of the commodore and falcon it seems those buyers have all gone dual cab now. The price of 80s/90's 4x4s has skyrocketed. I think with all the lockdowns forcing people to stay local, it really inspired people to explore their own states

My freind has a gs300, they feel so nimble to drive despite the size and inside it’s roomy and comfy
I’ve owned two sti foresters. Looks genuine but with aftermarket paint. You can see the brembos. Paint job is not factory.

I don’t know how they are so many great condition cars that are that age, they have a very unique classy and sporty look and it’s just depressing to be in the United Kingdom and have about 1% of cars that are older than 5 years and they are not even close to the majority of beauty saloons in Japan, great content,subbed

I live in Europe and I have been eyeing Evo IX, S2K, S15, Hawkeye STI, 3000 GT VR4, R32 GTR and so many more but knowing that I will never be able to afford one in the foreseeable future is really saddening. In 10 years time when most of us have finally started to have a good net worth ICE cars will be extremely taxed and german car manufacturers have doubled down on ending production of ICE cars by then

I have been in a R35 GT-R as a Uber right home here in Western Sydney Australia. Covid still in affest riding in the back seat passenger it is the most amazing experience that I ever had and never forget that night.

Subaru never offered a STI version of the Forester in the United States for that model year but it really doesn't mean much until we all know what's under the hood and if it's rocking a ej257 with a few bells of whistles.
I agree about the GS300. Love mine but it feels like a tank. Solid reliable and quick car. Doesn't age either.

Looks like an authentic Forester STI, but it also could be engine and interior swapped. They’re real but I’ve never seen that color though. I used to want an Aristo so bad back in the days…
I looked online after I filmed and you’re right. Now I know for future vids. Think it was the first Cross Sports I’ve filmed
The lights front and back (black paint), scoop, brembos, roof rail paint (silver), seats, steering wheel and stickers tell me it's most likely a legit STI. If it was a six speed then you can say with much more confidence. Never seen that colour. I want it!
You think someone engine and interior swapped a car to make it look like something else because the exterior paint is a color other than originally offered?
Subarus are interchangeable like LEGOs (I have one). From the US to Japan, GCs to GDs WRXs and Foresters are commonly STI swapped cause they can all use the same parts underneath…
Thts a 2007 forester sg9 its the sti version with a 2.5ltr boxer and 6 speed manual and brembo brakes and thts the difference from the sg5

I may or may not have spent 25k on an R32 GTST but hear me out, 60th anniversary type M , only 20k original miles (odo verified) , near mint interior, and the guy I bought it off of had everything that needed to be replaced , replaced. I’m usually good with my money so I’m chillin, I have ‘16 civic to daily, the skyline is a blast 😍

And yes, as a Miata guy, the NCs are the ugliest looking, specially their first version (circled fogs). But still, good looking cars with underpowered engines!! 🤣

That is how the 06 forster sti is built, the everything from the seats to the dash to the front bumper and intercooler should jave sti painted on it, also info plate is on the right side of the engine bay to show it has an ej255. Ngl, one od the cleanest foresters I ever seen, not a fan of the color tho. I prefer normal subaru blue with volks te37s

Japan never had the 2.5L (EJ255), the JDM XT's (non sti) got the JDM spec EJ205 (230hp give or take), and the STI got the exact same engine and trans as the Impreza sti of those generations (EJ207). On paper they are said to make 265hp but in reality they make the same 280-300hp the Impreza sti made. Subaru put it done as making less to not take away from there hero car the Impreza sti. It obviously feels a little slower. But that's just because the Forester weighs more.
Altezza in the UK is the Lexus IS200 & IS300 even the 200 is a 2Litre 6 cylinder or UK versions are.
That Toyota wagon in the states is called a Corona. Yes we did get them in the states
13k for that nardi gray truck is a steal! All those old Toyotas and Nissan trucks are selling for big money in the states.
I’m curious to know how much they were asking for the Porsche 968 club sport. I’m not sure if it was a real CS or just badged that way but they are asking over 100k for them in Australia.
You add on at least 10 grands more for shipping and inspection to the West Coast on top of it.
It’s around 3k to west coast last I heard…don’t know about emissions and getting it registered in Cali though

They never sold Aristo's as manual. Some people swap r154 or v160 trans in them though. It's a direct bolt on but very expensive these days.
No r33s r34s? And yea you're right the 03-06 350z came in DE, the 06 was a rev up engine and the 07 (I have this one) and 08 are HR engines
That Mazda has a 2.3liter Turbo I4 engine and it makes 260hp stock

I believe that mazda 6 could be turbo all wheel drive in the states its a mazdaspeed 6
Rear bumper, front grille and wheels are a clear indication that it's (sadly) not a Mazdaspeed 6.
