Simple trick to avoid ever having to pay parking tickets: Register your car out of state. They can't impound you until you have 6 delinquent tickets. Once you get 6 tickets just re-register your car in a differnt state and then all those tickets don't show up in their system because it's attached to that registration. Just switch your registration back and forth between Nevada and Arizona. Rise up and fight the corruption! .
Untill 3 or 4 years ago we had the same thing in the EU. Other than putting in an extradition request (which obviously no EU member state would oblige if it only concerned a minor violation) there was no way for EU member states to verify the personal details and address of the citizen of another EU country, and thus make sure the fine correctly makes it to that person's home address. If you were caught red handed by a police officer as a visiting foreigner then they would occasionally demand you pay up on the spot or else be placed in jail untill you paid up (they knew very well that if they didn't do that then the fine would never be paid), but not all countries had such policies, and in the case of traffic camera's that still wasn't an option. Unfortunately these days no matter which country you catch a fine in, if that country happens to be an EU member and you're an EU citizen as well then you're guaranteed to receive the ticket, and although they still can't force you to pay it once you're back home, they are now at least able to access your personal details and address, and if you don't pay the fine then you better not go back to that country or else face the consequences....

my friend has a camaro and i have a mustang. at a meet SOME GUY HAD HIS KIDS SIT ON THE HOODS OF OUR CARS FOR A PICTURE. we asked him what the fuck he was doing, and he said "getting a picture". i was confused at the gall of this man. when i said no and told him to get his kids away from my car he said "whats your problem, its just a picture". i almost fought this guy, and i ended up seeing a scratch from his kids sitting on it (i assume a zipper or something). i told the guy 200 cash, or there was gonna be a problem. i ended up getting 32.50 and the satisfaction of seeing him banned from that meet.

I find it amazing (regardless of what car it is) on how many people will just come over and actually touch it. I have classic boats (4). 1 or 2 (like the one in my avatar) are almost as cool as that car. I have never had anyone just come up put their hands on it (even at public docks) without asking and then most still wont touch it unless invited aboard. Like the old saying goes. I am an aerodynamics system engineer for gator motorsports, a formula sae team. Our rear wing is only rated at 200 pounds of downforce at top speed and approximately 100 pounds of drag. I can assure you pushing our car by the rear wing will crack it at least so it makes sense I would cringe.
An IndyCar is designed for Indianapolis, they're going to be able to resist much more downforce than a Formula SAE car. Plus engineers pushing cars by the wing happens in F1 all the time.

Simple trick to avoid ever having to pay parking tickets: Register your car out of state. They can't impound you until you have 6 delinquent tickets. Once you get 6 tickets just re-register your car in a differnt state and then all those tickets don't show up in their system because it's attached to that registration. Just switch your registration back and forth between Nevada and Arizona. Rise up and fight the corruption! .

Untill 3 or 4 years ago we had the same thing in the EU. Other than putting in an extradition request (which obviously no EU member state would oblige if it only concerned a minor violation) there was no way for EU member states to verify the personal details and address of the citizen of another EU country, and thus make sure the fine correctly makes it to that person's home address. If you were caught red handed by a police officer as a visiting foreigner then they would occasionally demand you pay up on the spot or else be placed in jail untill you paid up (they knew very well that if they didn't do that then the fine would never be paid), but not all countries had such policies, and in the case of traffic camera's that still wasn't an option. Unfortunately these days no matter which country you catch a fine in, if that country happens to be an EU member and you're an EU citizen as well then you're guaranteed to receive the ticket, and although they still can't force you to pay it once you're back home, they are now at least able to access your personal details and address, and if you don't pay the fine then you better not go back to that country or else face the consequences....

my friend has a camaro and i have a mustang. at a meet SOME GUY HAD HIS KIDS SIT ON THE HOODS OF OUR CARS FOR A PICTURE. we asked him what the fuck he was doing, and he said "getting a picture". i was confused at the gall of this man. when i said no and told him to get his kids away from my car he said "whats your problem, its just a picture". i almost fought this guy, and i ended up seeing a scratch from his kids sitting on it (i assume a zipper or something). i told the guy 200 cash, or there was gonna be a problem. i ended up getting 32.50 and the satisfaction of seeing him banned from that meet.

I've been to four of the last nine Barrett-Jackson auctions and that is almost exactly what I do. I do keep one hand in front to hold the bidder pass flat against my chest so that it doesn't accidentally touch the car and the other behind my back.

I have classic boats (4). 1 or 2 (like the one in my avatar) are almost as cool as that car. I am an aerodynamics system engineer for gator motorsports, a formula sae team. Our rear wing is only rated at 200 pounds of downforce at top speed and approximately 100 pounds of drag. I can assure you pushing our car by the rear wing will crack it at least so it makes sense I would cringe.
An IndyCar is designed for Indianapolis, they're going to be able to resist much more downforce than a Formula SAE car. Plus engineers pushing cars by the wing happens in F1 all the time.
