  • The audio didn't record so you get some calming music instead!
This is the first time I am trimming it and it was a pretty aggressive trim. I also added some string here and there to try and shape it. Hopefully it will have this tilt downwards over time without needing the string tension.

That is quite a pruning! Best of luck in shaping it. There is something rather relaxing about gardening, whether indoor or outdoors. I have a few crops producing right now myself!

Appreciate the comment! It was indeed quite a big haircut :P I have had a few snake plants before and it used to stress me out with the amount of growth and propagating they naturally did. However, this bonsai has moved me into more of that relaxion zone that you are talking about and I am glad for that :D
What crops do you have going?! I tried hydroponics in the past for some green veggies but never managed to get into the cycle of it.

@@MasterEverydayLivingLots of tomatoes! I grew them from seeds and have about 12 huge plants. Next year I am thinking of growing other things. My luck with indoor plants has been poor, mainly because they get rootbound and always need transplanting, but maybe bonsai trees are a bit easier?

@@ladyoftheflowers9781 Ohh niceee, I love me some tomatoes :D I have had lots of luck with indoor plants but its mostly due to my south facing windows.
So far, the bonsai tree has been my simplest plant that I have taken care of. Water every other day and that's it. Some yearly maintenance too is needed with trimming some roots and refreshing soil but haven't gotten to that point yet. Will face that challenge when the time comes xD
