Watching the install and seeing the magnets its very important to note that the magnet that is mounted on the outside circumference of the flywheel is for the ignition only as it will not pass over the coils in any fashion that will generate voltage. Notice there are multiple magnets on the underside of the flywheel and that is where they must be for this to work. I mention this because I have seen so many posts from people saying the charging coils are garbage because they have 0V output when in fact it is 100% pilot error because they didnt read the fine print about the underside magnets being mandatory.
how much volts AC does it put out at around 1500-3500rpm? I'm putting some lighting setup for my Forest Bike planning to get a pair of those coils, and GY6 Rectifier to hopefully charge a battery and run some DC stuff
So why nobody use a regulator or a rectifier? Wont that push out ac voltage with the spin? A headlight will work fine but charging a battery will cause issues...
@@LukaBean10-4a 12 volt 4 wire regulator for a 150cc engine is more than adequate, and can typically be had on eBay for less than $5.00. there are YT videos that explain the wiring.
I just bought this motor for the kids go cart and trying to do lights on it can you please please please send me the part number for the exact same thing you just installed I can't find anything on it or the website you got them from
I literally been up.I have literally been watching hours of videos trying to. Find what you just said about the 212.Thank you so much

Fun video. Thanks :)
Appreciate you!

We're did you get the magnetic fly wheel
Yes????
Yes...where???
If you plan on a starter in the future you'll need another flywheel with a ring gear.
Didn't the motor already have charging coil's installed? How did they originally power that headlight?
The headlight never worked. The Predator 212 does not come with charging coils
No it didn't. This is a replacement engine from Harbor Freight
@@AutoDadwhy didn’t you just take them off the old engine?
Were do you get the magnet's from
The charging coils use the same magnet as the ignition coil, so no magnets are needed.
Love the chicken
Can you use stock fly wheel
Will it matter if it’s a hemi or not
?????
Can I hook it straight up to a head light
Should be able to
Will the charging coils be enough to keep a motorcycle battery charged while running a light
That I am not sure, but you can install 2 for reassurance. Some kits include one and some include 2
Do you have the link for the coils and flywheel? Thanks.
@@CozoneCozonethese can be found on eBay or Amazon.
Yes ,its a 12v dc you just have to use a charge controller
What are you using for a voltage regulator?
Is that a predator 212 hemi or non hemi
Non hemi
Fun times 😂

Yes it will. Redbeard garage got a custom regulator for his, but I would assum you could use a regular 12v regulator out of any bike.

Where did you get the kit?

The parts are available on Amazon and eBay. You can buy either an electric start kit, or individual parts, whichever you need.
@@Farm_fab yhank you
Finally found the kit but it won't work because mine is the hemi style
Can you not get power to work on the hemi? or have you found a way? I have the hemi and installed the coil but I get no power.
@Cameron Calvert the kit I got the flywheel hole is to small and won't slide onto the crank
Still no luck with the hemi? I have a hemi also and guy said it wouldn’t work for hemi in a different video.
Can you send me the part number for that.
Is that 24volts bro?
12
cant see anything!
Don’t get that flywheel... Cast flywheels can’t handle high RPM, get a billet one.
SMH😂
