    I just found your channel and I find you so inspiring. I'm not a soap maker, more of just an artist I guess. I just love watching soap makers, because not only are you teaching us science, but you are showing us works of art. These were beautiful. I can't wait to watch your other videos.
    Keep 'em coming! Much love from the PNW!

    I love the fact that you used color in your brown soap. I've been looking through videos like a crazy person trying to find someone that uses colors in their brown soap. Everyone else just tried to use black, or brown, or just color the unfragranced portion. Great video!

    Few fragrances does not have vanillin. But after being curious, I did a lot of research in why a non vanillin soap would turn brown. I found that some fragrances are made with E-vanillin (Ethyl Vanillin), which turns soap from a tan to brown. Some suppliers are now showing e-vanillin percentages as well vanillin %s, for us. Always good to know for planning.
    These are beautiful Fall soap bars.
    Cheets 👍🤗💕

      I meant to say...... "A few fragrances turn brown despite not having vanillin.". Typing on this teeny pad is not easy. 😏

      Hello Ruth Ellen, I’m new at this and it’s becoming a passion. Your channel is at the top of my list ! My problem, for now , is lye! 😩 do you have a video that shows howto make it and all about it? I want to be an expert eventually at making soaps like you, but truly must master this lye solution making 😮 Ty! ❤ it’s a bit scary but want to do it correctly 😅

    Hi Ellen!! So enjoy your videos! And those colors! Fascinating! I do have a question about Olga and your slab mold lol. What is the cut size on your soaps? I’m asking for a multi bar cutter for Christmas. And what size is the slab mold? Thank you and keep the videos coming!

    I think those layers are so cool ! Im curious how much buttermilk you added and if it effects the lye amount

    • @EllenRuthSoap
      @EllenRuthSoap  3 місяці тому

      I added about 2 heaping Tbs of the milk powder. It does not effect the lye, just makes for a creamy lather.

    Grace & Peace Ellen Ruth, Yes, I feel like I know you because no matter where people are in their business endeavors; there is always an engaging, enchanting channel that is user-friendly, I am sure I can speak for others; it's a safe haven; a place to call home. You're exquisitely engaging, user-friendly, and I know why Ellen Ruth soaps stands out; Do you know how many soap businesses have the name Sun kissed, there's a plethora of Sunkissed Soaps out there, but AI could never come up with Ellen Ruth Soap's {now that's how you outsmart technology; okaaaay...in my ghetto voice) but you see Ellen Ruth Soap's stands out, nd the lady behind the brand is awesome; and did we mention beautiful, elegant; Downtown Motown Checking In.
