I like the muddy and growly tones you were able to produce with the guitar. I always learn something new from you Danny as I wasn't aware of rubber bridges at all. Thanks for sharing with us!

Aah thank you for the kind words, it means so much! 😄🎸🙇‍♂️ these goldfoil pickups definitely have their own vibe; I find the neck pickup naturally gets a little fuzzy when driven, all the more wild with a Fuzz pedal 😂🤯🎸

I am not familiar with rubber bridges, but I am very familiar with Teisco guitars. Whenever I see that brand now I always have to stop and take stock of it because if it wasn't for Teisco I would have never learned anything about the guitar. Teisco was my savior in my formative years in learning the instrument. That is all I'm going to say about that except that I am very, very grateful to them and their company.🎸🎶

Hey Marvin thanks for sharing, that's so great to hear 😄🎸 I definitely share your appreciation for Teisco guitars; I started off on a Squier Strat myself but I find so much charm in these instruments! From what I've read they certainly got instruments to the hands of more budding musicians, not to mention they have some real cool and wild designs 😎

Very nice Danny, don't think I've ever heard a rubber bridged guitar before, so I found it very interesting. And Yeau.. it does have a unique sound to it.

Thanks John! 😄 it is a relatively new mod; Rueben Cox is often credited as sparking off the craze in the mid 2010s 😎🎸 It's got a lot of use in the folk/indie scene, I think it's definitely a nice texture to add! My default setting is Janky Blues and I like how it works for that 😂

It’s something I’d like to try and have seen a lot of recently. This sounds great Danny

Thank you! 😄🎸 you should definitely try it out, it would be great to hear you shredding out some rubber bridge licks! 🔥 😎

Very interesting! Result sounds great, I'd like to give it a go - How 'squishy' was the rubber you used? What is the baritone tuning you're using?

Thanks for the kind words! 😄 the rubber I used here is relatively firm; easy enough to cut to size but it will return to a flat shape on it's own. This particular rubber is Essdee linosheet, used for lino printing 🙂
      The guitar is tuned to be B standard; B E A D F# B 🎸
It is definitely a fun mod to play around with, let us know how you get along with it if you give it a go! 😄
