To this date the 1070 has been probably the best card I will ever own for the price. Going to be 3 years old this year and it's still running everything on high settings with ease. I don't get it why would you need anything better than 1070sc by evga card like me. I can nearly be at the level of a 1080 if overclocked. Why waiting for something better when you already have everything going smooth? Graphics are stuck in one place, we stopped making graphics look better because there is nothing better to be done. No need to upgrade to something you will not see an upgrade to. We've upgraded graphics to a point our own eyes cannot even see a difference... we need a freaking GRAPH next to it to tell us. While these cards are awful close right now, as time passes the cards will start to separate in performance as new games come out that take advantage of the newer tech. This has always been the case and I don't see that trend stopping anytime soon. If anything, the drivers will be optimized for the newer tech leaving the older cards in the dust. IMO, the best thing to do is get the newest card you can. Going back in time for an older card may work for a limited time but eventually you will have to buy an newer card with newer tech to play anything you want on ultra.

I'd slap an AIO on that 1660 TI but then again, I wouldn't buy one in the first place because on Newegg:
EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 XC Black | $349.99 (Includes A Free Copy Of Anthem, Battlefield V, Or Metro Exodus).
EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti XC Black | $279.99 (Included A Free Copy Of "Grip: Combat Racing" & A Free EVGA Vehicle Skin).
For $70 More, not only do you unlock the ability to experience Ray Tracing & DLSS along with its other features, but you also have your choice of a free $60 game bundled (so you've already got $60 back from the $70 difference your paid. That just leaves $10. And with that $10, look at the performance boost you get in-game when you chose to go with the RTX 2060 over the GTX 1660 Ti.

Depends on the monitor and game. If you just have a regular 1080P monitor, then you aren't going to tell a difference between the cards. If you have 144hz monitor or above 1440P, then you are going to tell a difference. Frames still cap on most games at 60FPS. Countr-strike, Crysis and I believe the newest tomb raider games don't cap

Jack Leadbetter going to do the same. I found one for 150 as well lol. Most are $200. Found an asus strix oc one for $230. Don’t really see a reason to spend more. Going to use this new pc I’m building as my main computer (total cost will be 750-800). Then downgrade it in about a year once I get a projector and use it as a console/media pc. It’s going to be in a fractal node 202 so it will be perfect. Then I will build an all out workstation/gaming rig once the new ryzen 4000 and new ampere gpus come out which will be around summer time. Going to need a really powerful gpu since I’m currently trying to learn adaptive learning and have also started 3d rendering/designing. I’ve only build 3 pc’s, but have built 3 in 3 different price points ($2500, $1000, and $500). I found the 1000 buck one to be the sweet spot, but the 500 one greatly exceeded my expectations.

Not sure how this got to my feed today. Anyways, one thing that isn't shown here in some of the game like Resident Evil 2, you can get a little better image quality on the 1070 since it's a 8 GB card, while the other 2 are 6GB in this video. Bump the settings any higher to use more than 6 GB, and they will begin to stutter, where as the 1070 will still be smooth as silk as long as you don't go over 8GB. Still amazed at how strong the 1070 is to this day.

and the power consumption? you only see the price tag, but what about the power efficiency? im not defending nvidia or something, it might just be something that you have to consider specially in the long run,

Two things you may not know make your FPS increase are:
    Ram speed and
Type of drive the game is on
Both of which depend on the game but just search videos and you’ll fine up to a 10FPS difference.

    Are those tested in desktops?
How do you make the core clock so stable! Please make video about it.
Please do gpu test and stable core clock for laptops too.
Stable core clock not possible in laptop?
