I've become a Skechers convert ever since I've used the go run ride 7. Ive been using it for work, leisure, run, for everything! so light and comfy, an all day shoe
I just ran in the Max road 4 for the first time. Awesome! Lots of cushion and bounce. It was hard to run slow in them. NOTE: They run long, I need to go 1/2 size smaller. For reference, I have multiple pairs of the Razor 3 and I needed the max road 4 1/2 size smaller. Cant wait for the Speed Elites! They will most likely be my race shoe for Boston. Keep up the great work Skechers and RW!
Great video! a shoe for competition and training (prepare for a marathon of less than 3 hours) what footwear is suitable? I use my own templates (I do it because I think they cannot be removed in reazor) Thanksss
@@JamisonMichael The GOrun ride series has always been your shoe. And you cant go wrong with a little zebra on the weekends. I've been wearing the maxroad most days for daily training and workouts in the Speed Elite. Looking forward to the masses being able to expierence it very soon! -Connor
ended up with the max cushioning elites by accident!...for me super comfortable, light and of course "cushiony"...quality shoes at a great price....the only thing elite about me are the shoes!
Connor, u should have told Kurt we want something like the Go Run Ride 4s. I'm hoping the new Go Run 7 plus might be similar, but I won't hold my breath yet.... the ppl want the Ride 4 back..... Those Razor 3s are not all that gr8. They have a roll inwards and my podiatrist after watching the way they transition, said it's very bad for your ankles, feet, knees and back to do anything strenuous in them for long periods of time. They are damaging to your body and if u look at the sole, u can see it's not flat and rolls inwards. My ride 4s, 5s, 6s and Hoka Hupana don't do this nor any other of my shoes. Also, on one of my two pairs of Razor 3s, the inside underlay at the toes on one pair also came apart from the top inside of the shoe rubbing on the top of my toes (right foot) and if I was to persist in doing any heavy activity I would have ended up with blisters. Apparently Skechers in Australia wouldn't admit it was a manufacturers fault and did not want to replace them but Running Warehouse here did at their expense, but said they can't do anymore 'warranties' or 'love the shoe' guarantees, for another 12 months ( now if a shoe is detective, that's not right ).... and when I complained that if that's the case, I don't have the confidence in Skechers with that attitude in case the new pair of Razor 3s, did that again, I got a store credit so I'll get the Saucony Kinvara 11 when they are out.... Also, these Razor's also fatigue my feet and calves, and eventually cause me to slow down and then stop unlike the ride 4, 5 and 6, which make me want to keep going and never take them off my feet, particularly the Ride 4. They were the best shoe Skechers ever made.... As for those go run 7s, the upper is so sloppy, your foot seems to just slide around inside the shoe and they are very very unstable. But I think with the go run 7+, this issue may be solved and I am really hoping that these go run 7 will be similar to the go run ride 4 except with a hyper burst midsole but as I said I won't hold my breath, because those ride 4s we're just too awesome.... The current go run ride are not the same shoe, as the stack height is higher and the drop is now 6 mm and they are nothing like the original 4s.... you need to tell Kurt this and have him read the old reviews of the original ride 4s. There is nothing on the market as awesome as those, not by Sketchers or by anyone else, so if they really want to give the people what they want they will bring them back or design something extremely similar with the hyperburst midsole, and somehow make that work....
Sounds like the Razor is not the right shoe for you. I personally really enjoy it and we have received a lot of positive feedback on it but everyone's feet and gait are different. With that being said, we have seen the upcoming Skechers shoes coming in the next year and there is ALOT of very exciting products in the works. Keep an eye out on our channel, more info to come. As for the Go run ride 4, I will be sure to pass the information along to Kurt. -Connor
@@runningwarehouse Kurt mentioned that the Go Run 4 was applauded in Runners World Magazine and got some serious accolades in the video where you featured the Go Run 7 plus.... Well, it was exactly the same for the Go Run Ride 3.... ua-cam.com/video/tRti3qwofVA/v-deo.html Now the Ride 3 and 4 are almost identical, except the 4 was just a tad firmer (ever so slightly)/more responsive and looked more modern and hotter.... remind Kurt of that also..... @@runningwarehouse ua-cam.com/video/tvS1o_TPM8Q/v-deo.html Here u go lol.... here is a young Kurt with the Go Run Ride 3.... The Go Run Ride 7 and 8 is a completely different shoe to this, and even the drop is too high.... nor do they look as hot.... the 7 and 8 might be good shoes, but they are no longer like the original rides at all.... Skechers needs these back perhaps with the Hyperburst midsole, but everything else, identical, incl. the external front 'bumper' overlays, to stop your toe busting through and the internal overlays coming apart and/or rubbing on your toes internally like in the Razor or the current rides according to one of the reviews I saw..... Give us what we want Kurt...... 👍🤟😀

I have a new found respect for Skechers. For me it was always that lame brand which ripped off designs from other shoe makers, and was popular with old folk and non sneaker heads. Look like their running shoes are on point and they have raised their game with the hyper burst technology.
Skechers seem to have discontinued their GoRun running lineup in Ireland , as someone who supported their product right from the start it’s very disappointing.. Going into their “big”branch in Dublin with the hope of buying the GoRun ride 8 after the brilliant GoRun ride 7 I was met with ‘what’s that “ never heard of it . !!! It wasn’t there and neither where any of their “proper” running shoes WTF! Such a shame when you have a great product and such poor service ! If you guys are to be taking seriously as a running brand stock running shoes and not fashion shoes solely
For longer distances I'd recommend the Maxroad 4 or the GOrun Ride 8. If you want a higher level of cushioning go Maxroad, if you want a more versatile and responsive ride that still has plenty of cushioning, check out the GOrun ride 8. -Connor
Hate to be the negative Nelly here, but since I have the chance to complain to an actual designer... The out sole pod design has poor ride an traction. All knit uppers cause more problems than they are worth (blistering and sliding around), traditional mesh uppers are much better. That said, like the GRR7, love the R3 and saving my pennies for the GRR8. No denying the guy has a sexy voice too.
LOVE this lineup. Kurt, if you are reading this, can I score a skechers performance race kit? 14:26 5K on the roads in the Speed 6 (#1 in NJ) and 30:33 10K in them as well on a hilly course. Current trainer rotation: Ride 8, MaxRoad 4, Forza 3, Razor 3, and Balance Anchor. I'm a HUGE fan!

The GOMeb Speed 6 is a great shoe but it did have some sizing issues. We recommend sizing up at least a half size but many of our testers had to size up a full size. The toe box is shallow. -Connor
Running Warehouse I really liked the shoe but not the fit, the 1/2 was too shallow and the full size up was a little long. I actually ended running in my Hoka rincons again, no matter what I try I always go back to those. If you get the right fit the Go Meb 6 is amazing for a 5-10K.
