Interesting drum set up for Willie. Tom-tom to the left of the snare and hi-hat in front. Don't think I've seen a blues drummer set up like that. Great trio and Otis sounding like the king that he was.
Interesting to see Random Knowling on bass. I have always associated him with the pre-war Bluebird label sound, so it's nice to see him touring in 1964 - and showing off his jazz technique. He brings out the jazz in Spann here, too.
I Love Otis❤
Freakin' brilliant! He just sits down and swings!!!! 💥💥💥💥💥

Spann was always the man. This is a totally new tune to me I hear him play here.
Thanks for uploading these. Would never had heard it otherwise. Grateful 🙌
No problem 👊

Such an under appreciated musician
A masterclass!

I’d love to see more of this show man! Especially Muddy, because you can really see him in video in the 60s!
I'll be posting a video a day from this show so some Muddy tunes will be live soon
wunderbar!!
Drummer looks like a young Willie Smith.
It is!

I wish it was left in black and white ,
