Thank you guys for getting to the bottom of this. I'm glad the truth got out about Larry otherwise we could have had another victim on our hands. It's a shame Munir wasn't confronted directly, but I have a feeling we're not going to see much of him again now that this video has been released. As always, it's been a pleasure to work with you and Jaani.
Jim and Trilogy, you are so close to the truth. The "tech" companies in the US "train" these people. They are the US base of ops and do the money collection and laundering. They are affiliated with a "religious" doomsday cult. The largest one in the world, actually. These folks do more than "witnessing" scammers. They use companies like this as shells but also to recruit foreigners into their sect. These "e-learning solutions" companies train foreigners in places like Zimbabwe through legit channels, like foreign comp science colleges. This is bigger than you may know. It includes law enforcement, bankers, teachers, etc. Check the affiliations with the people you catch in the US. They are in a laundering phase now, using scam money to buy up properties and setting up llcs.
What's nice is these guys are motivating others to call and prank these scammers. One time I actually had a person wait while I took the bus to a "Target" to get a gift card for them. After about an hour, I told them I changed my mind and hung up. Edit: I was literally on a bus so the scammer could kinda hear the bus stops so they thought I really was getting the gift card.
I don't know if you know but Jim also works with ScammerPayback. There are many other people in this fight, too. Malcolm Merlyn, Deeveearr, Scambaiter, Kitboga to name a few close to legend status. :)

Unfortunately, in India (or Pakistan) chances of his arrest are slim. What should be done, in the meantime, he is put on a list of undesirables unable to enter the U.S. for business, family visitation, or pleasure travel.
Yeah Larry is a victim here. Someone just called him, told him his computer has a virus and the only way to fix it is to open an LLC and give him your social security number and send gift cards to him. Totally innocent guy, I feel really bad for him
Apologies for riding on your comment, but I wanna make sure people see this. Rather than reporting these scams to Indian cyber police on their sites or directly to them, it's better to tag the cyber police on twitter or facebook (or other social media) with some content from these scams. No one likes bad publicity, and no amount of bribes from scammers could stop free speech online. That would pressure the police to actually do something (at least it should). Hopefully more people see this.

I almost cried when I saw that old man on webcam at the beginning of the video and when I saw the way that scammer was talking to that lady. I was so furious that I could have pulled that scammer's tongue out. Great job guys, we need more people like you. Much respect.
Janni is so fucking brave to be involved to this degree. The fact he allows his face on camera as well shows the size of his balls and hats off to him for all the work he does for you guys.
I was also thinking about that. It's been shown before that these scammers seem to want to shoot TM on sight when they were seen in public. Albeit it could still be a weak threat, it's still dangerous. Janni best be protected one way or another, cause apparently the mans live there.
I would suggest that both guys don't interrupt each other when interviewing, it comes off as unprofessional. Besides that great work and I'm happy for the work you're doing!

Munir is probably one of the more vicious scammers out there. He's not afraid to be rude and use threats to get this way with victims, and he isn't shy about escalating his threats if he felt the ones he is using aren't working. It's a shame he wasn't confronted, but I'll bet the guy is scared to death. Usually the meaner a scammer is, it just mean they are compensating for something.

If you are talking about *this* video, you disagree with Trilogy Media's opinion on the matter? As well as think the FTC wouldn't find something if he was involved? Nah, this is the kind of people we as a society should be trying to help, like what Trilogy has done for him. Had they not caught this first it would have likely become a much, much larger issue for Larry, but due to Trilogy he was able to get in front of it before that happened.
@@DaniNyoMH In my opinion Larry is NOT involved with this scumbag whatsoever - Larry is, yet again, another victim that has been dragged in without any knowledge that his details have been stolen and used. Larry was on the case to dissolve the company the SCAMMER set up (without Larry knowing) as soon as he could manage, alongside reporting it to the correct authorities. His help and "work" in closing down the money mule part of this sh1t for brains scam is vitally important and we know that he will get the proper support from the Triology guys 🙂 I find it pretty heart breaking listening to Larry speaking as you can hear in his voice that he is not a well man, hence him having to go into early retirement. And to be handed this sh1t to deal with when healthy must be hard enough, let alone when one is ill 😞 I think the majority of people can tell an honest person when they "meet" one, and it is obvious with Larry. There is no "clearly involved" with Larry, he is an innocent victim that has been scammed and stolen from himself and then taken further advantage of once sh1t for brains has knowledge of Larry being ill and vulnerable - the perfect victim in his eyes! My concern with this Larry guy is that all that money that went through that business has tax liability connected to it. He needs to legally establish that the company was illegally setup under his name so he doesn't incur that tax liability, let alone the liability to the victims and possible connection to the scams. The system is going to look at this situation and assume he was complicit because so many factors are pointing to him. It sort of needs to work that way because it guards against anyone participating in illegal activities to just deny that they are connected (despite all evidence pointing to them) and get away scot free.

Hey @TrilogyMedia, for future reference, if you guys are doing any filming or reporting from overseas, look into getting media visas. That will allow you guys to work safely within the confines of immigration law - regardless of the country you're in.
In theory, yes. Except, India doesn't really like giving out J visas. If you are going to do a cooking show or travel piece then yes. But try to tell an embassy that you are heading to their country to expose a criminal issue and would like to film it all. Good luck:). But maybe some day, someone in immigration/police will realize that granting easy entry to the scammer hunters is not a source of loss of face but can rather help the image of the country. As in, I think the world knows that local police can't keep up with this kind of crime, but accepting help is smarter than ignoring the issue. So, I'd love to see these guys get some sort of multiple entry consultancy visas.
Don’t think any country will allow this. Best way is to contact the Indian Cyber crime team and work with them. The Indian Reserve bank is making it more and more difficult for scammers to operate in India. That’s probably why they are hunting targets overseas. But I do agree, contacting Cyber crime team in India is not the easiest. I myself wanted to report a scam and could not really figure out how. But keep up the good work guys.

His help and "work" in closing down the money mule part of this sh1t for brains scam is vitally important and we know that he will get the proper support from the Triology guys 🙂
I find it pretty heart breaking listening to Larry speaking as you can hear in his voice that he is not a well man, hence him having to go into early retirement. And to be handed this sh1t to deal with when healthy must be hard enough, let alone when one is ill 😞
I think the majority of people can tell an honest person when they "meet" one, and it is obvious with Larry.

However, Art's behaviour of constantly interrupting and talking over Ashton is pretty frustrating and irritating. I'm guilty of interrupting others at times. It's a habit that's hard to break. Being aware of it helps. Ashton's patience is impressive. 👏😁

At that point when you noticed Larry had no clue you should have had him call IRS dissolve the LLC. And have him get with that bank and recover all money that was still in the account and close it. So much you could have done before leaving him.

What an amazing community of people. All of them so quick to help and so respectful and respected. I got the feeling that the elder man in India at his home with the construction was truly invested in having justice served. He walked to the shop, or followed them to it, to ask further what damage had been done in the name of the man they were looking for. There was a calming peace to this that I did not expect to find.
Most of them were absolutely careful to not sell anyone out even if might he lives there. Most of the locals are the basic shield used by terrorists recruited from locals against the security forces. That is how deep terrorism and radicalism has been planted in Kashmir, and hence is a difficult task to eliminate the terrorists in Kashmir.
Yep. Ordinary people live in Kashmir too. Things get murky because of the terrorists from Pakistan infiltrating this peaceful state since 1947.

The confrontation with the guy in Ohio was much improved from your previous encounters.
Much improved but still terribly handled. Constantly interrupting each other is a sign of inexperience. Kinda cringe to watch tbh.
Agree it has improved... But at the very least Ashton needs to be the sole person giving the explanation to the elderly person. I get they aren't professionals but the constant interrupting comes across as confusing and intimidating and is hard to watch.
@@gcdc424 It gives that used car dealership vibe.
Better but both still talking over each other, very immature. I would never open the door for them if I did not know who they were.
