I like solid lifters. Seems like less failure rate over roller. At least in diesel’s. I’ve never had a roller set up fail in a gas engine. Seems like diesels will eat a lifter and send needle bearings through the oiling system
Johnson lifters are way better than LS7 lifters, they cost more, but if you haft to replace a cam with a flat spot and lifters you spent $ the second time that you could have spent the 1st time and still be driving.
And my friends wonder why I dress like a bum and eat off the dollar menu😂
