- Another back saving tool for the woodyard. Pinch a log is the widest opening log tongs on the market. No more deep bending picking up firewood.
Easy to use with gloves, and keeps your hands dry in wet/snowy weather.
Winner of the Pinch-a-Log is: Bill at @Firewood at Home

That Pinch a log is slick! I like that it can grip a wide range of sizes, and the extra handle for getting a better bite and release.
I agree the Pinch-a-Log is truly a versatile and handy tool to have around the woodyard.

Pinch a log would make a great addition for the homestead firewood tool kit. Great review.
I agree, one or two log tongs should be in every firewood arsenal.
Thanks for watching and commenting 👍TCT
I appreciate your product reviews with the pros and cons of each. The Pinch-a-Log seems to have the advantage in the ability to pick up the larger pieces. Now it you have the strength of Paul Bunyan the possibilities are endless.
Yup I always say watch what you ask for, bigger is not always better but with this you have the option for up to 26” piecies.
Thanks for watching and commenting 👍TCT

American made, pinch a log (wood) be a great gift for your buddy Chris. We all watch him for his big dumps. Pinch a log will help everyone that loves to cut firewood, which is the best job ever. Thanks Tony for another great product.
Wendel unfortunately Chris loves working with his hand’s instead of tongs. I can’t seem to get him to use one of the tongs but that’s OK he’s much faster than me on any given day😂
Thanks for watching and commenting 👍TCT
Great job reviewing pinch-a-log or pinch a log
Love hearing about good products and small American companies
Glad you enjoyed the video. I love reviewing U.S.A. made tools.

Ha ha now that’s too funny. How appropriate was the timing of my review of the Pinch-a-Log!😂

Hello Tony, for this 67 year old New Englander, who seems to learn something new everyday, your channel is extremely educational! The Pinch-a-Log might have to be another addition to the tool shed. Keep up the great work!
Well from this Midwesterner I thank you for your kind comments.
l’m Glad you enjoyed the video and found it informative.

If you ever try the Pinch A Log you won't regret it!!!
I can see the advantages of having a tool like that, I definitely like the Pinch A Log after seeing the advantages of the longer opening between the tips as well. More versatile than the other models you had in your previous video Tony. Great that you are showing A Eric an companies as well. As a side note, less moving parts on the Pinch A Log as well, less wear points and a simple yet effective design. 👍🏻👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed the video. You’re right on your observations regarding the Pinch-a-Log, there are advantages it has over other log tongs.
It boils down to personal preference.
But I’ll tell you you can’t go wrong with these tongs
Thanks for watching and commenting 👍TCT
Good morning Tony. I appreciate your honest tool reviews. The Pinch-a-log seems to be a nice addition to any persons "firewood team." (If your shed wasn't used as a real outhouse, it was probably a shed used for kids to wait for the school bus. I see many of them throughout rural Wisconsin.) Take care!
Charles I agree I think it may have been a kids club house with windows and plastic flowers.
I’m glad you enjoyed the video.
Thanks for watching and commenting 👍TCT
Great video, Tony. We've had our Pinch A Log for 3-4 years now and absolutely love it. Dry wood or wet wood, it does a great job on either. My favorite part of using this tool is the natural position of your hand alongside your body while picking up or throwing a log. Their customer service is second to none. It would be great to have another one to balance my wife out when she is moving firewood.
Balance and speed.
Good point about the orientation of your hand.
Ha ha Joe, I like your thinking and how considerate you are to help your wife when she’s picking up the rounds for you.😂
Thanks for watching and commenting 👍TCT

Hey Tony, looks like the pinch a log is a real handy tool. I appreciate that it is being made right here in the USA just like most things did prior to us dropping the A-bomb, you know back when Father's were husbands and providers for the family, made a living wage and in many cases enabled their wife to stay at home and raise the kids... Sorry I slipped onto my soapbox there, Thanks for sharing the pinch a log, have a great day
Jason, I try my best to review U.S.A. made tool and accessible.
As I always say, I’m not trying to sell anything just make you aware of what’s out there.

Thanks for watching and commenting 👍TCT
hi there i believe i have seen all or most of your back saving log picker uppers. and do like the Pinch-a-Log the best so far , Also thinking 2 Pinch a logs is better to keep your back more balanced , also like the Pinch-a-Log grabbing the ends of the log because almost all my logs are dead causing the outer part to be soft and punky . that would possabley cause a log to release unexpectedly (on my foot ) . This Pinch -a-Log looks like a winner , thanks for showing it . good show john
John as usual with your engineering mind hit on all the key points.
It’s a simple yet affective design and best of all it works great.
And you are right, two is better than one.
