  • Ex-Google CEO Eric Schmidt has been quietly plotting a new defense tech effort: a stealth military drone project, four sources with knowledge of the effort told Forbes. The project’s existence has not been previously reported and it has yet to publicly launch.
One of the defense industry’s loudest advocates in Silicon Valley, the billionaire has been planning a covert venture inspired by Ukraine’s use of drones on the battlefield, with the help of Google alum Sebastian Thrun.

Middle Men Are The Problem With The US Economy
    Unpopular in General
People who insert themselves in otherwise fair transactions only extract from the economy and don't tangibly add back. I know people will argue that whatever their field is they add value in intangible ways, but in most cases it isn't true. Landlords are an example of this, stock brokers, most independent sales people are also examples. It is becoming more apparent to average people through middle men apps.
Basic economics is an exchange of goods. Then it became an exchange of goods for money or gold. Now it has become exchange of goods or services for money. We created money to make it easier to put values on things and make trading easier. But an unintended consequence bas been the ability to extract money from the economy without adding anything back. "Services" has become so pervasive of an extractor that people think middle man'ing a transaction is some valuable service.
