Always about the basketball team - we keep trying to "force" these (mostly black) athletes into a category their not in. Lebron is a billionaire - whether he's an Olympian, an NBA player or whatever else, and whether you like it or not, he simply is one of the most resourced humans in the world. No, he's not like everyone else and not like you. He's also almost 7 foot and one of the most popular athletes in the world. He also brings more revenue than most others to any of his associated institutions. In separate "surprising" news, top countries in the world are able to rank their priorities and make special requests, including who they want to be next to. I'm sure South Sudan is not getting the same privileges as the U.S. Olympians and I don't see a Forbes segment on this.
yup 6 ft 8 is ALMOST SEVEN FEET??? interesting.
For comparison, the three, LeBron, Curry and Durant alone combined has 1.7 billion net worth, 1.2 of which come from LeBron alone. Fun fact they also combined an age of 110 years old, making them among the oldest and also wealthiest athlete in the entire Olympics.
Guys this is world class athletes which events they in is most paid to watch!!! To spend money is to make money!!!this is a business law!!!! NBC spent billions to make money-- they want to showcase their best products!!! Lady in blue please stop questioning things not supposed to be questionable!!! You wasting people time!!!
Why did they booked all 800 rooms?
To keep all the tourists out. They would be harassed and mobbed all day for autographs
If you need to book over half the rooms in a hotel and you've got the money, at some point it makes sense to just flat out shut it down to the public. You get privacy and security.
Thats one thing for sure, YOU won't put NO men's nor women's Basketball Team U.S.A in No Olympic Village, PERIOD. They don't roll like that baby! They are VERY Rich Male and Female Professional basketball players for Team U.S.A.
mens olympics bball team makes probably 98% of all us olympics salaries combined
Don't forget golf is also an outlier. Which they also happened to mention the US golf team staying at the hotel as well.
NIKE is all over the whole tab.
NO athlete should be sleeping on cardboard beds and no air conditioning. Even prisoners get air conditioning and a bed. The Olympics shouldn’t be used to make a political statement.
NBA per diem As of the 2023-2024 season, NBA players receive a per diem of $156 per day for dining expenses while traveling
MJ has an impact on the NBA in countless ways. That's why he's the GOAT !
If you have the means then by all means 🤷🏾♂️ no a/c & cardboard beds is sick work
Lebron and Curry can probably finance the Olympics themselves
come on 15 M is nothing for team USA they are all superstar in the NBA and in the world. Team USA is the most Views
in UA-cam.. I am a big fan of team USA from Manila
Even Devin Booker can pay for the whole Basketball unit of 10 countries in the Olympics.
i’m sure the NBA is paying that 15mil so that they can have their players comfortable. Or either Nike is paying. No way they wouldn’t do something like that for their players (Men and Women). That is literally pocket change lmfao. This girl is asking questions that shouldn’t even be questioned
Oh no. Where will all that money come from? Do they have sponsors? 😳
Is social distancing between these two people really necessary? I mean are we still in the pandemic?
Each individual US Basketballplayer could pay this by theire own.
