Nice! Thank you. Just bought my first Giscours, a 2008. By sounds of it I should look for 2010!
Indeed the 2010 is seen as one of the best Giscours ever made "on paper" depends of your own taste of course. But the 2008 sounds lovely as well to crack open now!
I have a bottle of 2009 in the cellar. Will drink it the next time there is something to celebrate 🍾
Sounds great! The 09 would be more approachable right now then the 10. If you like full bodied wines with some fruity flavors and freshness this will be that wine.
It is a bit young but with a 2hour decant it can be enjoyed. Beautiful wine, and amazing vintage!
Indeed correct. After this tasting i decanted the wine and already after 30minutes we had a big difference but the main flavors and review stayed the same.
The wine that turned me onto Bordeaux! Cheers!

If you say a bit young, what would you personally say as best drinking window?
I will wait another 5 years until i open one up to re-taste the wine. Then it will be more balanced.
