THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS!!! I’m not exaggerating in stating that De La Soul put on the absolute best live hip hop show. Since ‘87 they’ve learned how to work ANY crowd they play into a frenzy. I’ve seen them play many, many times and they give 110% every single show. I have nothing but mad love for these boom bap icons as they are easily my favourite hip hop artists. They represent hip hop culture at its purest. Plug 1, you are the shit.

Apparently the follow up album to 'Anonymous...' was completed before Dave's untimely passing. Whether or not it sees the light of day, I hope De La release more live joints (like this performance), maybe start by reissuing the Tramps album on vinyl?
