Heart's Ann Wilson Speaks With Matt Pinfield on New & Approved

Ann Wilson is one of the most powerful singers in rock and roll history. The Heart vocalist joined Matt Pinfield for this episode of "New & Approved" to discuss her past and her latest endeavors.
Wilson recently released her solo album "Another Door," so she tells Matt about the record's production process. She also speaks about recording the duet "Don't Tell Me" with Disturbed's David Draiman.
It's no secret that both Ann and her sister Nancy Wilson have always been massive Led Zeppelin fans. Ann talks about performing Zeppelin songs and the Heart performance of "Stairway To Heaven" that led Robert Plant to tears.
Joni Mitchell and John Lennon are also some of Wilson's greatest influences. However, she tells Matt that Simon & Garfunkel have played an especially prominent role in her inspiration.

Love Ann. Talented lyricist, amazing singer. Kennedy Center led zep is as iconic.
One note: 10:1 learned more about the interviewer than Ann. Listen and time it out. Men sometimes need to not over direct a conversation. Sure your a lovely guy, you love music but it felt smothering. You let her answer in single one word responces too many times. I would have loved her add to the Flo of the conversation more and learn more about what she thinks.
