I have sat next to A&N a few times since '78. (Went to Ann's house once, and invited back.) Nancy has the voice of an angel, but Ann has the voice of an archangel ! The *power* of Ann's voice is incredible. Gave me goosebumps ! I once saw them at an Orca Benefit in Seattle (with Graham Nash and others),a few years ago and I was front row with about 800 people. (The EMP in Seattle). Her voice from 10 feet away was louder than the PA system ! Goosebumps !!!
I'm fortunate to have seen Heart 2 times as Heart , but best show I have ever seen was just the girls in Seattle doing just an acoustic show. Was most expensive ticket I have ever bought bur worth every penny! Truly an amazing show. The ladies are truly Rock Goddesses !!!!
Amazing women and legends! It's always a delight to hear them in interviews, given their honesty in the moment and to see the journey they've both taken over the years, musically and personally. Ann has perhaps the most powerful female rock voice and Nancy is one of the greatest rock guitarists, full stop.
Thanks For having real Musicians on, dying breed.. kansas , boston , Halen , So many more to do man, don't worry about views they will come..be consistent
Great interview Nikki. Heart's been "my band" since I was 10 back in '77. You asked great questions and brought some stories out of them that I've never heard or at least not in that detail, and I've either read, heard or viewed just about everything out there regarding Heart and Ann and Nancy. This is one of the best. Thank you!
Wowzers, Ann looks fantastic. More importantly, she looks as happy as I've seen her in a long time. Ann has always been the more interesting of the two and I heard in an interview they did with Dan Rather something I've suspected for a long time and that's that Ann is a lot more vulnerable and fragile in private than she puts on in public. I've always loved her.
Awesome show! I love Heart! I knew a couple of their songs growing up, but my music producer introduced me to their music and I fell in love with them!
Great interview! Thanks Ann, Nancy, Nikki, Jenn and team!! Heart & Ann/Nancy's music have been a HUGE part of the soundtrack of my life. (Crue/Nikki being on that list!) Really enjoyed this! Music is cellular! 💕🎤🎶
This is a great interview. Several questions had definitely been asked before but there were some fresh ones which is tough to come upon with a group that has been together this wonderfully long. I was pleasantly surprised at how well rounded an interviewer Nikki is too. He did very well at staying on point and prompting in depth answers and background stories. My favorite points are at 21:30 - 21:42 when Nikki talks about us all being the same, 21:42 - 22:05 the definition of true equality, 39:23 - 40:24 as to how music is cellular, and then 41:15 - 41:23 Nikki's quote "We do write the music that we listen to in a sense, it becomes ours." - so very true.
I like 9:37 when talking about letting go of perfection, and Ann interviews Nicki did he do Heroin Diaries about that time, and she has a song of his in her show! Which surprised him! Permission. What a moment of mutual respect among musicians! The Ann Wilson Thing's performance of Permission is found at 30 minutes in the televised the Kate show: thekate.tv/artist/the-ann-wilson-thing It is a scorching performance, but it doesn't appear Ann is promoting the old lineup of her solo tour (nor the latest Heart release). It is telling when Nicki Sixx says at 13:26 "it makes my heart so happy to see you guys . . . as sisters still together making music" but Ann says, "even without Heart in the world," stating her intention. Yet, I prefer her solo tour, the current lineup. Get away from the Heart stuff, the filler. Hehe. they got through the interview. It takes a new dimension, now that the news broke of the courtroom drama, which split the band into two camps, the Nancy camp, and the Ann camp! Me: Ann camp. And caused a family rift. You go, Ann!
I'm watching this (because I"m a Heart fan), after watching a whole bunch of Soundgarden/Chris Cornell stuff. It's a great interview, good rapport, everyone looks comfortable... @37:15 Ann mentions Chris Cornell -- RIP man...
You know, I watch a lot of stuff on UA-cam/TV, (and I hate just about everything,.... cuz it pretty much does suck royally ) and Nikki doesn't suck one bit. Just a first-rate talent and intellect. Actually worth watching. Quite thoughtful and professional . Loved his book when I read it a few years back too...Kudos to messieur. Sixx, you deserve it.
Just saw Ann live on tour - she was in-f##ing-credible! Voice is better than ever! Last time I saw her live was 1980 and she was the hottest chick on the planet, especially when she played the flute. She is the Queen of Rock!
There's been a little grass grow under my feet and some water pass under the bridge since I saw these two from the stage at cal jam 2, in what is now Ontario Mills Mall in Ontario, and Nikki was still squeezin in what is now Raincross square in Riverside, but life is still good!
A Jamieson (Peter) Jot...It's a good feeling to rest. Take the Head above the shoulders & its proportion to the upper arms (1:1). Point:...Use that proportion of the head to upper arms to rest & enjoy a little comfort. (From Cradle to pop & rock).
Yes, Nancy is a great guitarist, but I always wondered if she was drowned out by the other instruments in her band, seeing how she played An acustic guitar and all.
Ann and Nancy should practice Rockin Heaven Down and Strange Night and Sleep Alone not uncle albert or beetles junk. Those Heart songs are the ones I want to see live as I did not get to see them on their 1980 tour.
I love how Ann and Nancy never talk over one another and show respect when the other is speaking, such a good friendship they have
Ann Wilson. The Best Voice Ever. Period. :-)
I have sat next to A&N a few times since '78. (Went to Ann's house once, and invited back.)

62 an 66 ? Wow, could easily pass for 40's..Their voices and musicianship are still flawless..It's like they haven't aged since 1976
I'm fortunate to have seen Heart 2 times as Heart , but best show I have ever seen was just the girls in Seattle doing just an acoustic show. Was most expensive ticket I have ever bought bur worth every penny! Truly an amazing show. The ladies are truly Rock Goddesses !!!!
Anne Wilson should have been the 1st choice for a judge on American Idol. I would be terrified to audition in front of her.
Amazing women and legends! It's always a delight to hear them in interviews, given their honesty in the moment and to see the journey they've both taken over the years, musically and personally. Bruce B Chin absolutely agree.....they are second to no one! they've always been at the top of their game!
Ann and Nancy Wilson just looks wise look hot for 66/62. Just beautiful women all around.

Thanks For having real Musicians on, dying breed.. kansas , boston , Halen , So many more to do man, don't worry about views they will come..be consistent
Hard to believe they're in their 60s. And Ann looks great.

Dreamboat Annie, best damn album that HEART ever had.
Awesome show! I love Heart! I knew a couple of their songs growing up, but my music producer introduced me to their music and I fell in love with them!
Looking better than ever Ann and Nancy.
Much love from the Philippines!
They are the greatest!
Great interview! Thanks Ann, Nancy, Nikki, Jenn and team!! Heart & Ann/Nancy's music have been a HUGE part of the soundtrack of my life. (Crue/Nikki being on that list!) Really enjoyed this! Music is cellular! 💕🎤🎶

Love them both
I love Nancy's Energy and Ann's Drama! Oh Hell!

Laughing out loud at Nikki's story at 30:00! Love this interview, subscribed! And the Wilson are always class acts and an awesome show.
My God, what did Ann do? She looks 20 years younger!
There's been a little grass grow under my feet and some water pass under the bridge since I saw these two from the stage at cal jam 2, in what is now Ontario Mills Mall in Ontario, and Nikki was still squeezin in what is now Raincross square in Riverside, but life is still good!
Fantastic!
Beautiful Broken is my favorite Heart album. It's amazing.
Just when you thought your heart couldn't get better....
Nikki totally matured-very cool..these women aged well..
Ha ha....there goes our band! That resonates with me!😄
Ann is L-QQ-Kn 'Marvalous! ...
Wow! Ann has really slimmed down here, how recent is this? She looks great!
it's a shame that what they're talking about right now ain't the way it ended it's sad but it is what it is
The wilsons look HOT...3 of seattles best.love you NIKKI.
seen Ann 's solo band TAWT. It's amazing!! her cover of Permmision is AMAZING!!!
A Jamieson (Peter) Jot...It's a good feeling to rest. Take the Head above the shoulders & its proportion to the upper arms (1:1). Point:...Use that proportion of the head to upper arms to rest & enjoy a little comfort. (From Cradle to pop & rock).
I love this shit!
