just finished putting a new stem on my bike and 5 minutes later this video comes up
round 2:15 in you removing the bolt reminds me of how i learned to get an overly torque tightened tire nut off when changing a flat car tire. I always keep a 4+ ft long pipe possibly or even broken old metal fence post ect in the trunk ,it gives you more than enough leverage to turn any tire iron or lug wrench to get a overly tightened torqued bolt/nut off...something everyone should know..the more we know 😂
Putting the bars flat once they're loose so you can turn the allen key all the way is such a simple idea, yet I never would have thought of it 🤦🏻. I also had no idea how to align my bars so I've learned acouple things. Im working on an e-bike, but it has bmx handlebars and it's pretty much the same process. I want a shorter stem and I'm now confident I can do it myself. Thank you
Love it man! Subscription earned
already know how to do this, but i think its great and i love how ya teach the newbies stuff. youre how to's are better than most ive seen as well. soooo Hi ! lol . Keep on keeping on Brother ! LMK if ever in the Chicago area \m/

Hi. Just found this video as have a new set of forks and headset to install in the next week or so.
Happy with getting the stem bolts as tight as possible, but how tight should the top cap be?
I think I have over tightened the existing one as it makes a weird popping noise when turning the bars sometimes.
Any advise would be helpful.
what rise bars do you use?
when i first removed my gyros there was a spacer on that top but it must fell somewhere and i didnt notice and i had to reinstall one gyro mounting platess till i ordered spacer and then i put my spacer on and found my lost one i didnt know i had on the floor
So I like to run alot spacers and where it's perfect for me is where the forks sit just under the top stem bolt is that safe to run?
You went back to the sweettooth frame ?
Do you sell those used part or just donate it?
You might need a thinner headset spacer (the black one) and/or get the eclat or animal fork bolt. Those two are long AF. Should help with your set up.
I want to get in bmx and you helped me find the bike I want so badly hank you
What bike is that?
I have those same shoes hehe they are comphy
Why does my heel hit my rear pegs? (New rider) but my bike is a 21.5TT i’m 6’6 size 14 shoes, Am i riding wrong or did i buy the wrong size bike?
Short chain stay. Get a frame with a longer rear end. You might actually benefit by having a 22" BMX. Look into it.
how cani get my bars straight as possible with my forks i have like severe OCD and damn it drives me nuts
Line up your axle nuts with your bars.
Use an Allen key as a visual aid. Use the same angle on your fork to set-up on your handlebars.
I would say take the stem off first with the bars on cuz sometimes the stem is hard to full it off the fork . So can use the bars to support pulling it off the fork
Get yourself a small rubber mallet. A few taps and it's out.
I definitely need a rubber mallet
Hey one these days my guy can teach how to do a bmx bike build
What if it is different stack height?
Simply remove the spacer
