Just curious about the barrel adjusters…. If they are all the way screwed out , won’t that make it difficult to tighten the slack once the cable is stretched and broken in?
No not at all. You can adjust it at the brake calliper for the lower section, or the “splitter” in the upper cable if the slack is above the gyro. It’s far more important to use the barrel adjusters on the gyro plates to balance the system, and then use the other adjustment points for cable tension. Hope that helps.
This is great! I always flipped my rear brake.. mounted to the underside....seemed to give a bit more stopping power/ I tried that silly single cable ACS ROTOR..member them? it was crap! lol Got my Odyssey..finally did my own...at least once a week, for about 3 years! hehehe Powder graphite....works well!

Nice job! Thanks for making a video like this.
Glad you liked it!
This just what I needed. Setting barrel adjusters was a mystery
Glad you found it helpful. If you take your time you can get them to work amazing. 👍
Noticed there’s a long and short cable. what side should longer cable go on?
The longer cable goes to the side furthest from your brake lever.
This is great!

Flipping the brake is also a good trick if you catch your ankles on the brake arm. It can help put them on the side of your front foot.
What brand is your ride?
It’s the Haro sport that is featured in the other videos.
Well done. Thanks for these tips!
Glad it was helpful!
