Great video, mate.
I'm gonna have to test a patch just like that
@frenchys_prospecting Thanks for following along mate. I enjoyed myself. My advice would be to just get the car closer than I was able to haha
@@BendigoGoldProspecting story of our lives, no doubt. Haha
Thanks for the great videos Ritchie. I sometimes have some luck raking a 4 square metre area where there is a thick layer of leaf litter. Then going over it very slowly and thoroughly with my Enhanced SDC. Usually find a target or two, sometimes gold, sometimes lead. Anyway, I enjoy your videos.
@philbophilbo4945 Thanks for the feedback and for following along mate. Very true. Interesting what signals can jump out just by taking off a few centimetres. Good luck in the bush!
I've done some panning banks of creeks below a big mine and dump and in sides of mullocks but will have to try spots I've found small 0.05 bits with Z as pretty sure finer Yella sits there? I suggest swish back at end a bit slower and learn that Tarnugulla Tap lol ⛏️
@melbournesubtropicfruits9474 hahaha 'Tarnugulla tap". Never heard that one but I'll have to steal it for sure. Thanks for following along mate. Good luck on the gold 👍🏻
@@BendigoGoldProspecting yeh Geoff Williams had a USA T name for it but thought Tarnugulla was way better and local l- refer to me as inventor lol
Your panning technique is really good, you rush the reveal a bit but all good. Your eluvial lead seems to have a pay layer. Probably a thin layer. The big donkeys have probably found an old divot to drop into while their friends keep going down to the creek
Hmmm 🤔
I love this kind of dilemma.
Your panning is fine mate, and an impressive amount of quartz was present. I have had a paddock where all the nuggets and Specimens were in a dead straight line for 150 mtrs coming off the reef. Nothing a mtr either side of the line, and infact nothing for 20 mtrs either side in what was a rich paddock.
Your gold in the pan was very sharp which means The reef is very close.
@adzoutnabout888 Cheers mate. Hopefully there are a few more treasures to be found along the 'line'. It's probably 200 metres so far from top to bottom. Would be nice to extend it haha
Interesting video Ritchie.

he has a lot of good videos😊.
@christianmclean3331 Thanks for following along mate. Shame I didn't have more time to wash more dirt but maybe next time. Toby seems to be well informed so I'm trying to learn as I go. Take care 👍🏻
I identify as a pomme with NFI and very little motivation atm. hopefully that will change in the next few moths. watch out for them bull ants and shorts. 🥵😮
@DazGeary Hope the energy levels pick up soon mate! Indeed. Don't need to get bitten too many times to stop wearing shorts haha
panning was close to ok mate take care
@pkgoldopalhunting hahaha Thanks mate. Heavy things sink right? 🤣
