    ♥ Materials List ♥
    Ballpoint Pen/Sharpened Pencil
    Foam Sheets
    Scissors
    Ink Pad (You can also use paint & a foam roller or a brush )
    Paper
    I LOVE stamps, especially this kind of stamp.
    Just draw into the foam, cut it out and stamp away to your hearts content! It's a great way to re-create your doodles over and over again on a variety of surfaces and in lots of different colours :-)
    Use for note-booking, art journalling, card-making, gift wrap designing, business cards, use fabric paint and print tote bags and t-shirts...the possibilities are literally endless!
    This is also a really fun activity to do with kids. They can use safety scissors or the adults can do any of the cutting out for the little ones :-)
    The materials are really easy to find, they sell this kids craft foam in lots of hobby stores, stationary shops and discount supermarkets. I've also seen it come in bags of pre-cut shapes which is sooo handy.
    The ink pads I used here are ICON but you can use any that you have or just brush on a bit of acrylic paint really thinly or with a foam roller.
    You don't even have to use a ballpoint pen, you can use a sharpened pencil or anything that makes a mark in the foam, even a pen that doesn't work anymore will do!

      @@woodmoonstudio I'd been looking for ways to make delicate design texture sheets out of foam, to use with clay. The stamps are a bit squishy for using with polymer clay but I pressed some soft air dry clay into them and it seems to have made really nice stamps with lots of detail! Thank you for this wonderful idea!

      Ekaterina Orlovie you can get lovely texture with this using the marks you make on the foam and the type of paper too. I'm completely addicted to it now!

    Can we use paints instead of ink

    • @woodmoonstudio
      @woodmoonstudio  6 років тому +3

      Hello!Yes you can use paints instead of inks. Just use a piece of sponge to apply the paint lightly to your foam stamp making sure not to fill in the crevices where you've drawn your design. I've used paint before and it turns out wonderfully :-)
